Fellas it has been a blast this season and I have enjoyed all the comradery here in the CFB forum. I'll admit I had a rough start to this season going 14-25 but rebounded nicely on the heels of my 75-46 CFB season last year. When you look at this game the very first thought is defense. These two defenses are tops in the country which is why they are where they are and only give up about 13 ppg averaged between the two.. There is no doubt McCoy is good enough to get it done here but only if his offensive line can protect him. Problem is I don't think they can and in fact I think Colt has a rough day here. Texas has seen some pretty good defenses with OU and Nebraska this year but I don't think they've seen one quite as talented as the Tides.This is the same Bama defense that absolutely embarrassed Florida in the SEC championship game,and if you ask Cincinnati, they'll tell you how good Florida's offense is. Coach Saban is the best college football coach in the country imo and will absolutely have his boys ready with over a month here to prepare. I'll admit most of the ats trends  point to the Longhorns here but I think Bama gets it done for the SEC in this one. No play on the total as I am leaning under. But.....this under looks way too easy and you know what happens when it looks way too easy! This could very well be a high scoring game that no one thinks is possible. May ponder on the total awhile and re visit later.

Well, bol to ya bud!  You know I can't agree on this one with ya, I do think however it's higher scoring than most think.  Too much of a big stage not to be.  Can't wait for February!

Easy on me brother. I know all about the heisman jinx and as I stated most all the ats angles point to Texas. To help your cause though, previous heisman winners have only covered 7 of the last 28 yrs.

This is more of a gut play for me and I think Bama is just to fast and physical on defense. I could be wrong. We'll see tonight.

Maybe the heisman jinx rolls to 8-28 after tonight.
