Boom I love your write ups. We do not always agree but it is clear you have put a lot of thought into this thread. I have been an open lesbian for a few years and do not like the negative references to gay people. I like this site and to disagree over picks in a professional and polite manner is part of Covers---to me. Gay bashing has nothing to do with this site and should be left out of the comments.

My Covers thoughts: ND gets crushed this week, Kansas and Ore St will be winners, and I feel OU and Ore in a teaser would be a good bet. GL to everyone because all comments assist me in my final thoughts before betting. We should all keep our comments to the game and bet picks--not sexuality. Wow, now the trash talk has even gotten to a "i'm a badass and beat people up" tangent. Guys you realize that you're on the internet right.....and you are only as tough as how hard you press the keys on your keyboard! Covers needs to make a new Forum section for arguing and shit talking only! Anyone want to talk about that football sport that has been going on lately? I have heard about it before and I'm wondering what it's all about......can anyone point me in the direction as to where people discuss it???

Grow some thick skin. If people choose to use words that you don't like, ignore them. Geez, people are so sensitive. I completely agree with that. I think they are a different team than they were to start the season, and will beat us in Starkville next month....As long as John L. Smith stays out of the way.

The Gay community is nothing more than a lynch gang now, sorry to stray off topic, but god forbid you say the slightest insensitive thing and they are all over you.
They will picket outside your establishment, they have used the media to brainwash the common people of america that should you ay anything slightly negative about the lifestyle, you are branded homophobic or worse, Sorry but i have children, Its my job as a parent to teach my kids that in my eyes the lifestyle is wrong, should they choose it anyway when they are older, that is something I would have to deal with, but now in my eyes its wrong, and when the gay community find out thats what Im teaching my kids, believe me they will have a big stink about that too.
