NCAA WEEK 14 **** Wisdom & Serenity ****

Wanna share a little of my "knowledge" with you.....

Wisdom - I've learned its not how much you know, its what you know. A HUGE part of what you must know is what you dont know. Step 2 is using what you do know to its full capacity. Step 3 is knowing where to look for the missing pieces. Example : You see a line that appears way off (many assume its Admiral Akbar and yell ....ITS A TRAP!!!! ) Nah, thats you using what you know (line looks off). Its also letting you know you dont know something . Step 3 involves you digging deeper and looking for the answer. Wisdom also means that....and I say this with all respect to those that use them....that stats are pretty much meaningless. You know who knows the stats better than you? Yep, the guys that made the line. What you need to focus on are intangiles....not stats, injuries etc. Momemtum, team chemistry & focus should be whagt you concern yourself with...along with lookaheads & letdowns (the sandwich angle). Obviously every favorite should win on paper.....Ohio Sts run late last year is a prime example...Against Bama with a backup qb...Easy Bama win right??? Right!!???

Serenity - Lots of naysayers and whiners everywhere in life, and this site is no different. I used to mix it up with the riff raff that have always plagued this site and made many a good fella move on. Not me. I literally dont give a f..k what anyone on a message board has to say. I do what I do. I like posting and talking games. Sure, I lose my fair share and am wrong a lot. And? Its usually the sackless folks around here that dont post plays and wait til the games over to tell you the pick was stupid. Im supposed to care? Old me did. Ive since got the wisdom & serenity to change what I cant accept ( not winning enough) & accept what I cant change (the negativity losing brings). So, the TRAIN will continue to roll down the track and with the punches.

Train, i appreciate your posts/inputs on the games, win or lose. you are the very few that i still follow, to this day. Ive been on this board alot longer than what my registration date saids, 9yrs +, but just decided to register and posts and be active now. I follow you, Wahoo , Megalocks and back in the day...Pucku and Aussieguy. Ive learned that you are always going to have the garbage heads out there that are going to hate on a loss but will not give you praise on a win. They just want to milk you, sit behind their computers and act brave and type out non-sense. Dont let it get to you. Ive learned , being on other message forums (clubsi) , to not take the internet too seriously. They are shitty people out there that hide behind their computers and project their negativitiy on to others because they fail at life. It is not personal. Keep doing what you are doing sir, there are much more people who appreciate what you are doing here than those that do not.
