With all due respect, PSU hasnt "run" up the score except against Wisky......and only because their other option was to just hand them the ball....on the other side, but that's because I'm a fan too. As for Cincy, I like it, and the under too

I will be leaving early tomorrow morning for Columbus as I will be attending the game. Hope everyone the best of wishes this weekend. I won't be able to update or add any plays which is the reason for a final card so early. Again I wish everyone nothing but the best in their wagers this weekend.
LOOK FOR THE GUY WAVING THE KRENZEL JERSEY AROUND.

As I have said guys I think Ohio State wins this game straight up. I will be at the game and will have a nice chunk of change down. Although Penn State looks great they have yet to have a true test. Not only will they get a true test but they will get it on the road at night in the Shoe. Don't fool yourselves and think that Ohio State doesn't look at this game as a springboard to the national title. Penn State has been awful in the Shoe and they will have trouble against their first legit defense.
Last week showed the kind of offense that Ohio State will display and that is bad news for all defenses. Pryor will be pushing the ball down the field especially off play action which opens up the run game for Wells.
On defense Ohio State should be loading up against the run because there is no fear of Mr. Clark throwing into the strongest part of the defense, our secondary. I think this Penn offense has run up the score on quite a few teams, and has caught those teams in advantageous spots.
Bucks10 said above that this line is begging for Ohio State money and I couldn't disagree more. Begging for Ohio State money would be Penn State -3.5 or higher. The country hates Ohio State and vegas knows people will be pounding the Lions. If Vegas really thought the Lions were the winner and knew the entire public would be on Penn, they would have set the line higher in their favor. Every wagering consensus site has showed roughly 57% of the wagers coming in on Penn State.
Good Luck to everyone, look for the guy in the Krenzel jersey at the game.
you had to know someone would come in and challenge this. But you haven't really attacked or anything so.. kudos on that. But I will challenge the opinion. This year OSU has played only one decent game vs MichSt. They were tested vs USC and failed. They almost lost to Wisconsin, Minnesota and even came close with Troy.. They only beat 2 teams this year by more than 2TD's (Troy and Youngstown St). PSU has decimated every team except for Purdue on their schedule. (as for schedule rank, other than USC, the schedule's difficulties are almost identical).
Key IMO to the game is the offense (both defenses are pretty damn good). OSU just can't efficiently pass the ball and approx 80% run to 20% pass. PSU on the other hand operates with a dual threat QB and an almost equal rush to pass %, PSU will probably stick another man in the box and wait for the QB to make a freshman mistake. I'm calilng PSU by 7-10. my .02. I should start my own thread w/ a full write up. btw PSU receivers are deadly fast. I'll be sorry to see most go next year. Williams, Buttler and Norwood. Their #1 receiver just came back last week. Just to much of an offensive threat going on @ PSU.

Before I get into this post I just want you to know I have nothing but respect for the Penn State team and I think this will be one of the best games to go to in my life as an Ohio State fan regardless of the outcome.

This is an entirely different team than the one that was on the field in the Coliseum.

Although I don't want to make excuses I will. Wisconsin was at their absolute toughest spot considering they were just coming off a stunning loss to Michigan and had the entire world watching. A win against Ohio State would have put their season into an entirely different category.
Although they did struggle against Minnesota remember that Minnesota is a team ranked in the top 25. Aside from that Minnesota scored a touchdown on the last play of the game which made the score look far closer than it was. That was really a 20 point win against a team ranked in the top 25.
Troy was the game the Pryor first stepped in at quarterback and I think we all know no matter who it is any true freshman coming into their first game is not expected to run the offense seamlessly.

Well having USC on the schedule IS a MAJOR difference that can't be pushed aside like you want to. Each team beat Purdue by the same score (within a point) and the diffrence lies in a win you had against illinois at home by 14 points. This is an Illinois team that lost to Minnesota at home, a Minnesota team that OSU beat by 13 (which should have been 20).
Other than that the teams you decimated were Temple, Syracuse, and an Oregon State team that had to travel across the country to play a noon game. The Ohio State schedule has been far more difficult and you were able to beat a Wisconsin team when they were at their absolute weakest.

As far as your key to the game I disagree with you 100%. I think this game will come down to defense because both teams will have trouble moving the ball. People think if Pryor can't move the ball than the game is over. If Pryor can't move the ball I promise that you will see Todd Boeckman. If you recall he picked apart this Penn State team in Beaver Stadium last year. I think which ever defense/special teams (OSU has scored 5 of these types of td's in the last 4 meetings) makes the most plays will win this game. I don't see Penn State putting up over 21 points but at the same time I don't see Ohio State putting up more than 21.
Penn State 17 Ohio State 20

With all this said I wish you guys nothing but the best on Saturday. If we loose to you than I will be rooting for Penn State to win the National Title. If we win I hope you would be doing the same. This should be a great game and I can't wait to get in my seat.

this is a good conversation. nobody attacking anyone so we'll just keep discussing a little. Now I'm not gonna compare PSU to USC (obviously very different style of play). But USC ran the ball very well against OSU. OSU got dug into a whole and they had their freshman QB start airing it. he threw 2 INT's which led to more PSU points. I just have this believe that OSU will come out w/ a running game and screen passes while PSU will not be afraid to air it out. (except anywhere near your star CB). PSU has been mentioned to have possibly the best receiving group in the Big10 + a dual threat senior QB.
I have several grading of offensive/defensive group vs group. but I'll just give my own.
Oline (only slight to PSU) DE's (slight to PSU) DT's (slight to OSU) LineBackers (slight to OSU) DB's (OSU) QB (PSU) RB (slight to OSU) WR (PSU) Special Teams (PSU one of the best kickers and explosive returner)
the big difference question is how will OSU handle a H spread PSU offense. It's difficult to contain a decent running team, passing team, and a QB that can run the ball also. PSU can keep an extra man in the box most of the time. But OSU can't really commit to anytype of standard defense. Who knows. I guess we'll see. I really have to do a more complete write up.
