Came back from a stinky pick  on Thursday and racked stacked and packed a 3-0 Saturday . Fortunate to say that every week this year has been a winning one ....8/8....Giving out 4/5 picks a week and a ton of write-ups for Covers Nation to sink their teeth into and ravage the SUCCULENT BITS  like crazed money-hungry lunatics.

Hope to have an EARLY TASTER  or two when the lines come out this afternoon....Have some family and relaxation time planned  so may have to take the SLOPPY SECONDS after you guys get through pounding the openers.

...I unloaded on Wyoming only to have buyer's remorse to play 75% of Wyoming wager on Boise 2min before kickoff then went pounded Stanford -6.5 that I would've taken 9/10 times after watching 1st half and UCLA/Stanford.Would've won if it wasn't some fat behind lineman chop blocks.Went 1-2-1 on NFL that should've been 3-1 but bad bad breaks..Then I did something a NOVICE bettor..I unloaded all my losses on Carolina & Under 2game Reversal (4-1)45.5 which made me close to even.Very fortunate to win and very STUPID...Played conservative all week after that scare.Mega,thanks for OleMiss U33.5 bro.Sorry for rambling...Mizzou just killed me.I thought no way Pinkel will be Mason's 1st victim,but I got to say Mason is such a great guy..Just a good man and I liked seeing him win.He had cadt iron balls taking that Vandy gig.He is great for the sport and I'm glad he is EASILY the best conference in in football.All u have to do is look at the NFL draft,National Signing day & recent Titles.Make no mistake about it nobody enjoyed seeing OhioSt beat Bama more than me,but like Bama beating TAM I was pulling for them.The wannabe Clemson grad that didn't even graduate or get a bid cries Conference Allegiance when he is the one that has his FSU pom poms when they play Fla.He hates the SEC because lime Barry Bonds says "They are just Good!".. I loved seeing Memphis beat Ole Miss...and yes they could beat Clemson a neutral field.Would they? Make a play here and there u never know..I mean he is the kid in the neighborhood that when his mom's calls him in for dinner he takes his football while all the other kids are playing...Fastfood worker? Okay because he is just a Widdle guy...peace

Ok everyone - here we go

Will start with the Thursday games.

MEGALOCKS CONFESSIONS .....sounds like some movie you rent for $9.99 involving a hard used divorced mom looking for forbidden love........Nothing really jumped out at when looking at the openers yesterday - will do our best to find some SUCCULENT plays but at a minimum will deliver the usual volume of analysis.

Right now we are not interested in the side although if this bad boy gets to 3.5 we will strongly consider a play on the dog.

Both teams are undefeated in conference play and are both in the same side of the ACC so obviously a huge game....UNC is undefeated since the SC game where they seemingly threw an INT in the end zone every 2nd drive.....But they have had a nice schedule to start - somehow got 2 FCS teams NC A&T and Delaware - as well as a bye week - and truthfully faced a really stinky set of QBs along the way - so yes they have only given up more than 17 points one time - but for real - I mean for real - they may be improved on D but they still gave up 39 pts and almost 500Y/game last yr including 240/g on the ground so not sure we know what they are about yet....Now they are very good on offense - big fan of QB Williams who can run like the wind and MATRICULATE in the passing game....They play fast - and Pitt D is not a monster so UNC will get their points..

Pitt has also been balanced on offense - statistically not making anyone go WOW....but Nate "Jake" Peterman has been solid at QB....FR RB Q Ollison has been a nice find after the Conner injury....and Tyler Boyd is an NFL prospect at WR.....We think the triplets can move the ball against UNC.....UNC is #111 in run D (yes they played GT but so did Pitt)....UNC is 11th in the ACC in yds/attempt run D and #14 in rush yds D (that is last ha).....UNC does not provide much pressure with the young DL - 123rd in sacks/g and 116th in TFL/game......Pitt has only played 2 home games so far this yr whhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?? so have a chance with 4L5 at home to finish strong.

Looks to us like this game is pretty evenly matched. Neither team a turnover machine - so it looks like another close Pitt game ATS. MEGALOCKS FUN FACT - every Pitt game this yr vs and FBS foe has fell within 8 points of the final line.....This game outta be the same....Covers hanging on every 4th quarter play and people getting banned and boxed left right and center in the in-game threads ....Could be a who-can-forget-it-finish like the classic 2009 Meinikekekeeke Car Care Bowl when Pitt won by 2.

Summary. No lean on side yet. Waiting to see if Pitt hits 3.5 then will consider. Interested to see what the total is released at today late afternoon.
