Mega,
How do you feel about revamped New Mexico -3 vs UTSA.  UTSA won 8 games last year vs New Mexico 4, but 5 of UTSA's wins were against 1-AA like opponents.  New Mexico loss close games against AF, Nevada, Boise St, & wyoming with one bad loss to UNLV.  I feel this will be a blow out by New Mexico.  YOur thoughts?

Great thread, what do you think about Ttu vs Smu? So many unknows. No starting qb yet for Ttu, total remodel of coaches, offensive mind set will be the same, will the defense show up or be worse than last year? Line is Ttu -5.5

pharm - Gonna pass on this one have the fair line at 4 and just too many ?? for us - How will SMU deal with losing conf usa off POY? DLine?? TT - how fast will KK make a difference as the new coach when QB is a total unknown? GL buddy
demsung - wahoo is right - we have no opinion although would definitely lean NM at -3.....just as we would lean utsa at +7 but that line is gone...again - so many ?? - utsa - 3rd yr with Coker and a ton of RS - could be a lot better...NM ran the ball so well last yr - 300+ game but have Q at QB and so many new faces??? just need to see how this game goes and evaluate after that - GL

Wacky Akron Zips / UCF over 55

Akron D - horrid
Akron O - much improved LY; #1 passing off in MAC - always behind mind you - but point is - they can and will chuck it; 2nd yr Bowden system; Also have a close to 1000 yd rusher returning
UCF O - BOOOOM
UCF D - did not look up to their normal standard stat wise or with the eyeball test and can see a regression again this yr

So 4/4 units to us support the over. and 55 is not much to ask. Was gonna try Akron TT over but just wanna make sure we win 44-14 game haaaaaa

SC / UNC under 57

Many good write-ups on this. Having a hard time seeing it hit 60. 2TDs/quarter and all 8 conversions and it still goes under. SC will pound the running game we believe dont want to get into a shootout - UNC will want to press the tempo but CAN they? dont think so with a rebuilt off line vs SC D line - topped off with crowd noise - and a good SC secondary - just dont see them moving up and down the field.....Both teams have new kickers hopefully one bozo will miss one or two....Both have good punters.....Ace Sanders gone from SC who probably would have been good for at least one 70 yd TD.
