Gonna go with the under here.....ND 25-10 under L35 at home...New field turf this yr I think....Neither offense looks scary and both defenses look decent....ND returns a good QB but their strength is in the run game....TJ Jones is gone and #2 suspended....nobody back with over 210 yds receiving....Rice has a good secondary.....uh oh....ground and pound....On the other side Rice starts a QB that has played but is "not known for his accuracy" and Rice strength also a deep stable of RB....Their top WR is hobbled and while he is listed as probable - they may sit him as next wk is a bye and they would get 2 wks rest....Their starting TE is out.....Have a couple of decent WR but ND secondary looks good even w/o suspended Russell.....Rice ran for 227 and passed for 178 / game last yr so like to pound.....Rice also has new K.....grasping at straws now...Final added bonus - 80% chance of rain right now during game - chance of T-Storrm...just an added bonus....Dont wanna argue about impact of rain on totals in August b/c I will stab myself can go either way but we feel rain would help under......ND has michigan on deck....IF they get lead can put this game to bed zzzzzzzzzzzzzz like Temple LY. Personally I would not worry about that but think about individual matchups this yr. Look for a very good team with a high level of stability from last yr vs pure filth. Marshall fits that this yr but you never know. . GL.

Thanks for all the great analysis. Question on the Boise state game. Totally agree that the Boise D will be improved. What do you think of the Miss team total under 32? I think Boise D can keep them in check, just really concerned about Boise moving the ball against that D-line

azplaya; That is an excellent question....I always look at all the possible betting options when I have a strong opinion and try and play the one with the best chance of success....After thinking about it I decided that Boise had a better chance of staying within 10 pts vs holding Ole Miss to less than the team total of 33ish. I think both plays are decent as Boise D is gonna be quite a bit better than last yr.....GL

Before the hate mail starts - we watched most of Auburn's games last yr - and whenever the game was done -we could not wait for their next one. Freaking exciting. As far as this game ?..........
1) Ark has a great OL and stable of RB. They can pound and will need to in order to keep this close.
2) Ark finished the season last yr losing by 18 to Auburn, 34-24 to Ole Miss, 24-17 to Miss St and 31-27 to LSU....that is not horrible by any stretch - and that is after they knew the season was toast.
3) Ark is 5-2 L7 ATS at Auburn
4) Aub is the hunted this yr and not the hunter; They are human and that has to be a negative ATS - especially in a rivalry SEC game where the underdog has had all offseason to prepare...YES - we understand you can only do so much if you are outgunned - but we are not talking SU win here
5) Auburn gave up 38 28 42 34 the last 4 games; They were involved in a ton of close games; Heart of a champion - But they didnt always steamroll people - especially early in the yr
6) Can Auburn automatically seamlessly replace an 1800 yd RB in wk 1 ??
7) Probable meaningless tidbits.....Rain in the forecast - not sure who it helps....We would rather be catching 3 TD in that scenario tho....Suspensions for Aub - incl QB - ya some guys will just not start and then come in later - but what does that do to continuity early in game?....We love the 18/19 pt lines taking dogs !! "Look its not even 3 TD !!! DEAL !!!!....Just like Michigan rolled UConn and Okie St rolled WV and T AM rolled Miss St we like those games that sit right around 19 if we like the dog. Kinda like 5 pt spreads. "Hey man - its LESS than a TD ! free money !"
