Mega! I saw that frosted Clemson mug you posted on Twitter, hopefully you'll be drinking a celebratory drink from it this weekend
Once again, I've really enjoyed your threads this season...obviously because they win but also because they're very informative for making picks that aren't official plays of yours and for general enjoyment with "___ be rocking guy"
GL this weekend, I would take a close look at Clemson TT over if you can get below 38. I hesitate to lay the 5 with Clemson because game has potential to be a shootout, but I think Clemson is absolutely going to shred UNC with the run game and zone read from Deshaun and Gallman. I believe UNC is giving up around 220 per game on the ground?
If either of these defenses are going to show up, I have more faith in Clemson's as their D-line is pretty good. Anyway, good luck, hope to get one more winning week!

UNC has been rolling even since the opening loss to SC - 11 straight wins....Improved D from last year - and a ridiculous offense....they have given up points - last 4 games 31 21 27 34 but they have managed to take care of bidnezzz pretty much all year....Clemson is eerily similar on offense- very balanced - and a great run/pass QB...We remember posting back in September somewhere that if you just go on facts - it is really really difficult to find a team that been more consistently excellent over the past 5 years...No National Title in that span - but let's be real - that is NOT easy.....It does worry us a bit that Clemson has finished the season with 4 ATS losses (-50 or so vs spread) but on the flipside - they have put up 500+ yards in every game since the ND game - 8 str weeks.
As per usual - we prefer the team that is going to make more stops - Clemson #1 in 3rd down D and given up only 47% completions and overall have a better D despite the fact that UNCs is so much better this year...We also prefer the team that is going to have an easier time running the ball...UNC run D ranked 13th in the ACC and 11th in yds per carry...got ripped for over 300Y on the ground last wk and NC ST QB had over 100 and 2 td - hmmm - here comes Watson.
FWIW - both QBs have probably thrown a few more int than you would like - but UNC turnover margin overall much better (#16 NCAA vs Clemson #84)
We do not see much value in the line. We would want 7+ to take UNC. No more than 3 to take Clemson. Obviously the line is in no man's land right now.
Summary. Line and total seem about right to us. No play for now. Think Clemson wins the game just hard to lay more than a FG and recommend the play strongly.

Chef....dylk1510....After NCAA football gonna take a break from handicapping as always ! I start looking at things in June so it will not be long before the process starts again ! GL guys
LVT
vankiep
SportsM62....Have only looked at the Clemson game of those 3 you mentioned...I think Clemson will win but would never talk you off a ML dog that has a shot to win - GL !
BYU..Wahoo...Biddy
puffkit
Bizzo ! ....Enjoy the Iowa game bro - GL
Train - good question.....With so many neutral site games and so many dungfests - Crowd Will be Rocking Guy may have a BYE WEEK
alopez - good questions ....1) I do not believe in backing or fading a team automatically every game BUT you raise a good point - I always take extra care to find the teams that are getting hot and getting cold during the season and look at their games more closely....Also i think it is important to start the season with a couple teams you think might present opportunities...2) i do like your michigan st pick as a value play - If you wait the odds go down but your probability of winning goes up - it is obviously a tradeoff - personally i would make the bet NOW at better odds IF you still want to go for it....Can never hurt to take a stab at nice odds GL !

Hey Champ. If I can hit in BG-12 then im pressing on over 67 in UNC/CLEM
Your thoughts on both. I know your not so keen on BG-12 but I think their defense can do just enough vs a 3rd string frosh QB to keep a 2 TD's of seperation

I agree with BG buddy....even at -12.... I won't be betting it but just have a gut feel that they smoke em - GL (cannot argue with the Clemson total either)

Let's go MEGA. Time it ticking. WHERE THE PICKS AT?.... . . . . . . . . .
jking.
Slim picking for sure. I can't wait for your assessment on SDSU -7 vs Airforce in the Mountain West Championship. That's going to be a good one and I feel like a TD is just right hte way SDSU has been dominating their opponent. But I don't want to discredit the Air Force coming off a pretty unexpected loss vs the Lobos.

Dan LeFevour had the second-longest stint of anyone in CFB history, starting at QB for an entire decade for CMU. He trails only Carlos Huerta, who kicked for the Canes for an astounding 13 years. Hell, Huerta may still be kicking in Coral Gables for all I know.
