We were hoping that this one would open below 21 by some miracle of all miracles but to no avail...Temple is 3-0 and the 10 sack effort vs Penn St now a distant memory - got by Cincy despite being outgained managed to force some mistakes - then needed a desperation FG to nip UMass...They have faced two pretty good QBs and a Big 10 team on the road - and now get a hot mess in Charlotte....Obviously need to be humane and give them a pass in their first yr playing an FBS schedule....They did beat Ga St got their teeth kicked in vs MTSU....The boxscore from last wk game is almost too horrid to imagine - they had 7 turnovers - somehow were only (-2) 
....Teams COMBINED for less than 400Y....D held FAU one way or another to less than 200Y....Now if Temple sleepwalks through this and turns it over 2-4 times covering 24 is not going to be easy.....conf play on deck....If they just play solid football the Charlotte QBs - well we cannot even describe the horror - they will win this by 30+.
Summary - lean Temple at 24 or lower. Waiting for team totals on this one -Gee I wonder why?

.....I have the fair line at Oregon 11 but I am not betting the game...I do not believe in traps or sharp unreversed UFO Bigfoot Yeti Vegas Trap lines - BUT - what this line does do is ask me to stand back and question what I do not know...or do know and cant believe it...1) Oregon may really be no good - tackling is awful 2) who knows about the QB ? broken finger ? bruised finger ? no finger ? bruised ego? and we know nothing about backup QB 3) Colorado - and everyone else -can smell a wounded animal and would LOVE to stick it to Oregon - now fat chance they will - BUT we will not be the ones barfing on our couch if somehow Oregon lays an egg and Buffs are tearing the goalposts down in celebration.....just our two cents - if you wanna pound Oregon go for it don't let us stop you GL !! mega

hey buddy. We will get into our full blown MACtion analysis probably next wk - we have the game at Ohio -3/3.5 and do not see a huge advantage BUT did not dig deep into that one....Will have to defer to other guys on that one....FWIW still but ohio in mid tier - maybe upper mid tier - and Akron in the same area so do not think it is a slam dunk they are close in overall talent - Go with your gut ! mega

S Miss has been very prolific on offense very impressed with how QB Mullens is MATRICULATING in the passing game - they have put up 50 pts twice - Austin Peay and Tex St were victims - Played a good game vs Neb - I mean their D is pretty horrid - but Mullens had well over 400Y passing we shudder at what he might do to the N Texas secondary....Problem laying these points - it is a conf game - and last yr the spread was NT -9 at NT mind you but that is a HUGE swing and we think the number is fair and not short if you wanna play S Miss - we think that the obvious and probably best play on this one is S Miss TT over any number 42 or lower or even better probably the game over. Keep in mind that the Iowa had a bomb and 2 ret TD to inflate the score yds were not as far apart as score suggests.
Summary. Lean S Miss over 67 or lower BUT BUT check weather on game day - or check now on a reliable site or local intel. GL

Purdue had a decent showing last wk yet another example of how nowadays - the true freshman qb and redshirt freshman qb is not an automatic fade - talent is talent - and you at least have to respect the potential until you see them in at least a game or two....Blough did an admiral job imo I know BG D is nothing special but he played a strong game and threw for over 300Y...Of course the Purdue coaching staff did one of our personal favorites when playing an explosive team at HOME and an UNDERDOG...Tie game -early on- at their 2 yard line - 4th down - HEY LETS GO FOR A FIELD GOAL !! Those THREE points will be SO USEFUL against Bowling Green ! Let's phrase it this way - A) make the FG - who cares you lose B) miss the FG - who cares you lose C) try for a TD you might actually win....So this miss the 19 yard FG - 1 minute later - Shocker - Bowling Green has a TD.....Well done coach !!
Michigan St still does not look right to us - we know it is early - but when is the last time their offense was ranked 93 and D 77 ? And their OL beat up.
Summary - lean Purdue at 21 or higher. No take on total.
