NFL-X 21-19 (53%)
NFL Season 0-0 ( 0%)
NCAAF 7-7 (50%)
Not the start to the season I am looking for here. Auburn's defense couldnt hold the lead and cost me a very profitbale day. But it's a long season, and a marathon not a sprint. But I was sure I had that Auburn capped well, miscalculated Clemson's QB big time.
Onto today:
VILLE -13 LARGE (10 units)
VILLE/UK "OVER" 42 Large (10 units)
I love how both these lines make no sense. The Ville's Teddy Bridgewater is a turn over machine, and barely beat UK last year. His INT/TD ratio was 14/12 last year and he is working with a still young but better experienced O-line this time around. Kentucky is a bit young on defense and their D-line is the only truly experienced bunch and guys that can chase down the ball. The problem they have is their secondary had to do some re-shuffling which I believe Ville will try to exploit big time. The Ville are also young on defense which UK will try to exploit. Basically I see both teams airing it out tonight and putting up TD's, with the Ville just being 2 steps ahead each and every time. Ville by 14+
Ville 38
UK 17
SMU +8.5 MAX UNIT PLAY (15 units)
I love this play. June Jones has this team right where he wants them coming off a season where hopes were high but suffered a few key losses. But his pass happy offense is loaded with seniors and so is the defense. This should be a great year for the Mustangs as I see them giving Baylor some trouble here to start their first opener without their HOSS in RGIII. That is some big shoes to fill for the QB spot. SMU RB Zach Line is a stud, and you constantly have to worry about him which will bring the linebackers close to the box leaving the secondary all alone to contend with June Jones chess style passing attack. Baylor is going to struggle in this game, and I wont be surprised if SMU even takes this straight up. But the +8.5 is a juicy steak that I cant back down from here.
