I'm a complete box! I could never go over seas and fight day in and day out against people who want to kill us. I do not have the guts to be in the military. Big props to our military.
Continued prayers are sent to families who were harmed during 9-11. It's amazing what a small group of cowards can do to a country.
I also need some prayers for two families that are friends of mine. The last two weeks have been tough with one friend paralyzed from an ATV racing accident and another one last week who damaged his spinal cord in a freak wake boarding accident.
There are bigger things out there than who wins the game or covers the spread
My thoughts on games have been wayyyyyy off on week one. So I'm not sure I would tail anything I say just yet...haha
I'll be updating halftime lines, and the rest of the days games in this thread. Here is what I like from 12-2:30 EST.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE
South Carolina under 25 team points
Georgia's D seems to be pretty stout. It didn't look like USC O-line was that great as the QB's took numerous shots against South Miss. USC has scored more than this 1 time in the last 10 years during this meeting. Would also lean under for the game.
Duke/WF over 52
Both teams D's aren't the greatest. The last 3 meetings were high scoring( 79, 63, 77 points) and today has the possibility to be the same.

I will be staying away from the Steelers tomorrow. I'm not feeling good about these first 4 games. Hopefully we get the Dixon that played the Ravens when Ben was out.

You mean the Dixon that went off for an astounding 12/26 145yds 1 td 1 int and a 60% rating? Our Steelers are in trouble with him back there. I'm pulling for Batch.
Good luck today, KGC!

"South Carolina comes into this game off that 41 point performance last week that saw them accumulate 449.0 total yards of offense on 6.9 yards per play but they have another thing coming against this Georgia defense that allowed only 7 points last week and allowed only 128.0 total yards of offense on 2.4 yards per play. OUCH! RB Marcus Lattimore and QB Stephen Garcia each had two rushing touchdown last week as South Carolina did most of their damage on the ground with 224 rushing yards last week on 6.4 yards per carry (despite Lattimore averaging only 3.9 yards per carry). Not so much this week. Georgia has a nasty group of linebackers and a somewhat inexperienced defensive line but they allowed only 14 rushing yards last week on 0.5 yards per carry against Lafayette. My assumption here is that Garcia is going to be forced to throw quite a bit more in this game than he did last week. He did not have a touchdown pass against Southern Miss and passed for only 193 yards on 8.4 yards per pass attempt. I have always said that the Gamecocks are going to lose games when Garcia is forced to put the ball in the air as he complete only 55% of his passes last season (lowest of the Spurrier era). If Georgia can force Garcia to the air, they win this game no problems. They allowed Lafayette to complete only 33.3% of their passes last week for 114.0 passing yards and only 4.8 yards per pass attempt while bringing down 3 interceptions in the game and managing to bring down the Lafayette QB for 3 sacks. That is another issue the Gamecocks are going to have to worry about. They allowed Garcia to be sacked 3 times last week and they have one of the weakest offensive lines in the SEC Conference. Georgia on the other hand return almost all their sacks from 2009 and they have one of the nastiest group of linebackers in the Conference as Justin Houston (OLB) and Cornelius Washington (OLB) are back (11.5 combined sacks last season) and so is defensive end Demarcus Dobbs (4.5 sacks last season). These three should go to town on this South Carolina offensive line. Georgia also had 3 interceptions in the game and we all know how Garcia has been over the years with interceptions. Nonetheless, we are not going to see 37 points from South Carolina like we did in their meeting last season and if anything I think this offensive line is going to have all sorts of problems with Georgia's defense which will force Garcia to the air and really put the Gamecocks at a disadvantage. It's definitely funny after that first drive. Glad I have low limits on Team Totals. Really going to need a WF/ Duke blowout to start the day out in the green
