&#xD;&#xA;A unit is probably about 2% of his bankroll.  People use units, because it allows for all types of betters ($5 = 1 unit or $100 = 1 unit) to gague the strength of the play.&#xD;&#xA;Also, lots of people lie when they post $$ amounts anyway, might as well use units....
