I want to pull the trigger real bad on Washington St. The only thing that concerns me is the offensive line. LY, they allowed 40 sacks and don't have a whole lot experience coming back. In the Air Raid offense, the offensive linemen need to adjust to new splits. Typically the offensive linemen are spaced around 6 inches apart whereas in the Air Raid they can be split up to a yard. Bigger lanes to rush through. They seem to have not adjusted that well as of yet. They allowed 9 sacks in the spring game, and in the last scrimmage, allowed 3 sacks out of 22 dropbacks. Not a real good ratio. Screen passes and incorperating Rickey Galvin out of the backfield will be critical. When running an offense that is predicated on short passes, taking an 8 yard loss will kill drives. The good thing is, BYU isn't really a great pass rush team. Leach is usually good at exploiting defenses and putting points up in bunches. Still capping the game myself.
