Archer is probable for Kent. I didnt see him injuried in fridays game. Northern Illinois QB Jordan Lynch is a MONSTER tho

Ive been on kent all season, no reason to stop now...


Kent ML will be a play also...

KST had the tougher schedule of both , and NIU last 6 games were against the FBS worst teams...and a depleted toledo team--not that KST faced tougher competition but slighlty more challenging--- beside --- if KST that beat rutgers show up--- niu will get destroyed

Kent St lost to Kentucky like14-47. Ktcky just what 2-10? 0-8 in SEC

NIU lost by a pt to Iowa I believe. Iowa>Kentucky

yes, kent state lost to kentucky in the 2nd week of the season.

yes they got overwhelmed in the game.


BUT

something that gets vastly overlooked is the fact that teams get better during the season. and Kent state right now is a force to be reckoned  with and there is NO way i will bet against them here.

with a chance at the BCS on the line, im taking the flashes here, and on the ML.

no, they are ranked 21st in the BCS,

they have no chance to move up 5 spots.

iowa won 4 games this year.

are you really judging two teams you know nothing about based on results from week 1 and 2.

both teams very solid,

i give the edge to the QB position on No Illinois as he is a better runner than Kent QB Keith,

edge to No Ill though i am rooting hard for Kent

I think Kent St could beat Kentucky today in a rematch, and likewise NIU could beat Iowa (actually they do beat Iowa if they play unconventionally and take a safety instead of trying to punt from their endzone on their last offensive series). These BCS busters need to run the table to get even a sniff of a minor BCS Bowl.

I don't have any opinion on who wins this game. Just concerned Kent St lost control of a game,.

i've been on Kent all season too... but there IS reason to stop now...

I agree with Apocalypse...
NIU has better athletes, a better offense and a defense that is a little under-rated. Kent State has lived and died by creating turnovers (see six INTs against Rutgers and two defensive TDs against Ohio). They created none in the thrashing against Kentucky.
And the D that showed up against Rutgers may show up again, but Jordan Lynch is light years better than Gary freaking Nova.
I'll be siding with NIU.

Kent States Offense didnt do much against Ohio in the 2nd half after the early onslaught fn turnovers turned touchdowns. That was a home game, this is a neutral site.

Been riding kent st. for the last half of the season, and havn't even seen them play,  so I will continue with the golden flashes and sm paly on ML.
