I don&#x27;t know how many times I&#x27;ve heard people say that a sloppy field favors the offense, but every time I watch a game in the rain, the defense seems to impose their will. Shame, because I already bet Northwestern in this game. Maybe I get lucky anyways.

Well I think the oddsmakers take the weather into account when adjusting the line. If Michigan State was going to blow them out due to the weather the line would have went up. I think if it's really that sloppy we could be looking at a low scoring game and one that NW can still cover.

really you dont think their suspect pass d could even have more problems if they falling all over the place? not saying they will as i dont know how bad conditions are, i mean if it pouring and windy of coarse that would hurt nw passing game but i have never been one to believe you cant pass in some rain...
