appreciate it fellas....make some cash this week
scores and some thoughts.......checking out a couple others and totals later this week
Oregon 48 Wyoming 21
– Ducks won ’14 matchup 48-14 with 550+ yards and not seeing much different, offense
looks sharp and too quick for Cowboys who’ve not matched up well with better
athletes losing 5 of 6 by 20+. Tough to see defense allowing 5.3 YPR last year
slowing things down.
Ohio St 51 Army 10 –
although probably will not try to run it up too much against service academy, Buckeyes
probably worked up after loss and getting flag planted in their field. OSU too
much speed on offense and Army averaging 10 against physical defenses
TCU 45 SMU 17 –
although SMU improved defense giving up some yards. Horned toads look refocused
after off year, much stronger defense, and have won last 3 in series by average
48-13
LSU 27 Miss St 13 – mostly tight series however feeling like Tigers at short number and running game eventually wears down the bulldogs that allowed 4.8 YPR last year and untested so far
Utah 48 San Jose St
14 – Utes not really known for extending margins however SJST 3-14 ATS as
road dog and giving up plenty of yards against Utah offense with improved QB
and Carrington
UCLA 37 Memphis 27 – tough starting time at noon, shootout for most of the way and give UCLA QB and defensive advantage to outlast Tigers who are banged up on defense
Ole Miss 40 Cal 27 – Bears can be tough at home however Patterson playing well and better athletes on defense, another high scoring game
Troy 44 NM St 28 –
although NMST offense improved, Troy own last couple in series 52-7 and 52-6.
Trojans focused for conference opener and Aggies rarely beat good teams
straight up
Arizona 40 UTEP 13 – although unusual for Arizona to be road chalk, Miners rarely hang with power 5 conferences losing 5 of 6 by 20+, allowed 300+ rushing to Rice and Wildcats running game averaging 7.7 YPC…uh oh
Ga Tech 27 UCF 17
– should be a decent game, UCF possibly distracted in preparing for option…..GT
rarely shutdown unless top level defense hitting 20+ in 30 of last 33...upset possible just not really seeing it as likely as not, wait what the hell does that mean
Virginia 20 UConn 17 – feeling Huskies improved if anything since 13-10 game last season and should be similar grinder….VA with only 2 DD FBS wins over last couple years
Duke 31 Baylor 27 – Bears psyche questionable and banged up at RB and secondary, mostly just a hunch this is an overlay and new coach rallies a decent effort…Duke only a couple DD wins over last 20 and possibly looking some to UNC on deck
USC 34 Texas 24 – should be high scoring with neither defense great against better teams, feeling this is more of a statement game for the Horns and enough offense to hang around
Syracuse 30 C Michigan 27 – not so much different than ’15 matchup 30-27 OT, Morris looks good at QB and Orange with two DD FBS wins over past couple seasons
