Think it'll be closer than 5 touchdowns my boy. We've never been able to run on Bama anyway but we have a QB capable of managing the game and making the big throws that Etling couldn't make last year. I'm a huge LSU fan and live in New Orleans so yes, I am a homer. That being said, I do think Bama wins but not by the margin of victory you are predicting. This will be the first time this year Bama has faced any competition on the defensive side. They haven't played anyone great - best win Texas A&M. But Bama will put up their points as usual and win as usual lol. I do think being in Death Valley at night adds just a tiny bit of magic but certainly not near enough to get the job done.
And if I am in fact wrong about my prediction of LSU not getting blown out by 4-5+ touchdowns, I'll be the first to say congrats and that you were right and I had it totally wrong. BOL and always enjoy your posts.

I read both sides... great points and thoughts everywhere ...
wasnt mentioned LSU hasn’t played a team like Bama ?? Focus is other way around ?
Bama hasn’t played anybody ??
Naive or confident?

Despite being loud and rowdy, LSU is not that loud on the field. Being Alabama fan and grad, one of my good friends played for Bama back in early 2000s and said LSU was no where near the hardest to play. I rarely bet Bama games, but this one will be one sided and think it will be 45 14 type game. Saban is the best coach with extra time to prepare and it will show in two days.

And I'll add, as much as I hate to admit it, I don't think LSU will ever beat Bama until Coach Saban and his recruiting class are gone. And that's coming from a die hard Tiger fan since birth. Hence my avatar :)

I agree with this. At +10, probably would get just as many with LSU. 14 is quite a bit and most gamblers will see OH, +14 at Home. WOW.... If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but the wager is in. Bama it is!!

If one thing I have learned is that SEC football is very unpredictable when it comes to divisional games. I love home dogs especially SEC home dogs. But Bama let's thier foot off the pedal late in games when they have the game in hand. This could be a backdoor job with no shot of LSU winning but scoring late in the 4th. LSU is one tough place to go in and win no matter rankings. HC Ed is no Les and will never be. But they still play hard at home. I like your angle on the running game, this could be upset Saturday across the board. BOL to all of you guys

Nick Saban was just asked what he will choose during the coin toss at LSU -- kick or receive?
Saban: "To be honest with you, I hope we elect to kick behind, is what I hope we do."

Nice call and win DoubleUp. I was wrong on this one and you nailed it. Nice work. Like I stated above, LSU will never beat Bama as long as Saban is coaching. Our offensive line and play calling stunk to high heaven tonight.
Geaux Saints lol!
