Oddsmakers are master manipulators....Joe Public and Alabama Hater will Jump all over #3 Ranked LSU catching over 2 TD&#x27;S at Home ....Everywhere I go ( work, OTB, UB game , Cards ) I keep hearing 1 howDeath Valley is such a difficult place to play at Night ....2 Alabama hasn&#x27;t played anyone .3. Well the Tigers beat Georgia 4. The Tide&#x27;s defense is not any good .5 TUA. had one miracle pass in the National Championship , and hasn&#x27;t been tested this season ..6. LSU is going to burn clock and keep it withing one score , possibly win out right ....7 LOCAL said nearly 90% of the early action is on LSU &#x2B;14.5 ...Not one person has taken BAMA in a Teaser , but 30&#x2B; are on LSU &#x2B;21 or more ...Oddsmakers are very smart , they could have set this line at 10/10.5 and likely  would have gotten 60%&#x2B; of the money on LSU ....Instead they&#x27;re being greedy and Begging you to take LSU &#x2B;14.5 ....DONT BET ON LSU , IF YOU LIKE WINNING MONEY !!! TUA might wrap up the Heisman Saturday night !!! Not sure he&#x27;ll need to play the 4th quarter though ....This is coming from someone who EXTREMELY dislikes ALABAMA and Hates Nick Saban.  ...ROLL TIDE by 24-40 ALABAMA -14 -120 $480/400

Think it&#x27;ll be closer than 5 touchdowns my boy.  We&#x27;ve never been able to run on Bama anyway but we have a QB capable of managing the game and making the big throws that Etling couldn&#x27;t make last year.  I&#x27;m a huge LSU fan and live in New Orleans so yes, I am a homer.  That being said, I do think Bama wins but not by the margin of victory you are predicting.  This will be the first time this year Bama has faced any competition on the defensive side.  They haven&#x27;t played anyone great - best win Texas A&amp;M.  But Bama will put up their points as usual and win as usual lol.  I do think being in Death Valley at night adds just a tiny bit of magic but certainly not near enough to get the job done.&#xA;And if I am in fact wrong about my prediction of LSU not getting blown out by 4-5&#x2B; touchdowns, I&#x27;ll be the first to say congrats and that you were right and I had it totally wrong.  BOL and always enjoy your posts.

[/Quote]Excellent post Brother Appreciate your time and kindness ....If I were an LSU fan it would be nearly impossible for me to pass on taking them with 14 and a half points at home....Missing Devin White is a ginormous loss...( 1st half ) ....I could see not Losing by 4-5 TDS , but I think it would take some garbage time points.  .Burrow is going to have to be Vince Young 2.0 in order for this to be within 2 TDS. ....OF COURSE , I could be way off and LSU wins outright ....of that happens I&#x27;ll lose almost $500 , and my temporary sanity .....Enjoy the Game Brother Sweep your board ( except this one ) Excx

Thanks for posting this I have been wanting to play Bama , I have a buddy that is a bookie.i don&#x27;t use him because he lives about 60 miles from me that has been telling me he ha not taken one lsu play that everyone is pounding Alabama.we live in Alabama.i was wondering who the rest of the country is playing.

DU... my thinking is same as yours. But LSU pass defense is significantly better than anything else Bama has faced. Ive been back and forth on it between what my brain says (Bama cant lose) and what my inner gambler thinks (&#x2B;14.5 at home?! in a Bama/LSU game?!).... We&#x2019;ll just hafta see how it goes. LSU burned me vs Georgia and Miss St so im hesitant to doubt them a 3rd time..... But Bama is seemingly on another planet right now

Burrow will probably hit a few deep passes but he still holds the ball too long and doesn&#x27;t have a great feel for the pressure (as Florida exploited).  I&#x27;m hoping he makes a few big plays early and that live line dips down into single digits, then unload on the Tide.

Despite being loud and rowdy, LSU is not that loud on the field.  Being Alabama fan and grad, one of my good friends played for Bama back in early 2000s and said LSU was no where near the hardest to play.  I rarely bet Bama games, but this one will be one sided and think it will be 45 14 type game.  Saban is the best coach with extra time to prepare and it will show in two days.

I agree with this. At &#x2B;10, probably would get just as many with LSU. 14 is quite a bit and most gamblers will see OH, &#x2B;14 at Home. WOW.... If I&#x27;m wrong I&#x27;m wrong, but the wager is in. Bama it is!!

If one thing I have learned is that SEC football is very unpredictable when it comes to divisional games. I love home dogs especially SEC home dogs. But Bama let&#x27;s thier foot off the pedal late in games when they have the game in hand. This could be a backdoor job with no shot of LSU winning but scoring late in the 4th. LSU is one tough place to go in and win no matter rankings. HC Ed is no Les and will never be. But they still play hard at home. I like your angle on the running game, this could be upset Saturday across the board. BOL to all of you guys

Mentioned this on the other Bama/LSU topic. I think the line is pretty reasonable. Being a bama fan, I hear all my buddies talking about how we are going to trash LSU by 20 plus (which is very possible). However I could just as easily see this as a 31 - 17 kind of game.

What I strongly believe in here is that LSU will not win this game.

The recipe to beat Alabama just is not there this game, especially not with this Alabama offense. In previous years, Bama fans (like myself) would worry a bit about the dual threat QB breaking through our amazing defense and us not being able to catch up with our offense. Just not the case this year. The defense will let up some points sure, but the Bama offense will be there to even the score.

I personally am staying out of this dog fight, but gun against my head having to choose, I would be at LSU +14.5 or better. Anything under 14 I would be tempted for Bama.

If I do decide to play it this weekend, I would be on a teaser such as Bama -7.5 plus another random game.
