Ridiculous comment, I don’t blame any of these college athletes who chose to forgo a meaningless bowl game when their entire future is right there weeks away from becoming reality. This is not a selfish decision in any way, this is common sense. I am a die hard Gator fan and I hope more than anything Trask decides to not play. Emory is the future for this team and what a great opportunity it I will be for him to start and play this game.

We’re not and if we are I will gladly eat my words. I grabbed OK +2.5 when it first came out as I already knew Pitts, Toney, and several others were going to forgo this game. Now they have several Covid cases popping which we should find out in the am who tested positive. Obviously Copeland did early but contract tracing has him around several other players so who knows, we might have db’s playing WR tomorrow night.

At this rate it might be cancelled. I don't believe Mullen when he says "maybe 60 players". Been around too long. Guessing they're playing, but the line move is telling me nobody with knowledge believes Florida is serious about this game, at this time.
I had a thread that Alex Smith would be out for the year, career probably over, when Rivera said Alex was probable to play the next game. That was 2 games ago. He's trying to fool people into thinking Alex Smith will play the last game, I doubt it. It's a coaches trick to throw the other team off, imo.
I've been around too long. Want to go back to being young and stupid, and physically stronger.

@jrhdgolf9 I'm with ya. Mullen reporting he's "guessing" he'll have about 60 players. So who knows who else is out. Florida has lost 2 in a row, Oklahoma has won 7 in a row including the Big 12 championship game. We'll see if we're the idiots here... Oklahoma
I bet the Sooners this afternoon at -3.5 and felt that it was still a solid bet given what's been happening and opt-outs etc. I agree Budwiser that the line will likely be at 5-6 tomorrow given that it is already at -4.5. Oklahoma wants to finish strong and familiar with Jerry's World etc. Good luck gents!

The only Gators that opted out are all 1st round draft picks. Who on Ok is going 1st round? Nobody.... And yes you’re right, depending on how the morning test goes FL will be with a very short roster that could put the game in jeopardy.

I would be more worried about Oklahoma scoring more than 24. After the initial adrenaline burst early in the 1st quarter. That SEC defense is going to be stout. Not just any SEC defense. A top 1 loaded with NFL talent
The inches we need are all around us , the 6 inches in front your face

Watched every play from “that top defense” and I can promise you one thing, they are the farthest thing from a top defense. Yes they have serious talent but continue to make mistake after mistake. OK running game with cause majority of the problems early which will then open up the secondary to getting gashed like they have all year. Todd G’s last game running that show and believe me nobody is sad to see him go.

the only way OU only scores 24 is if Rattler is just truly an awful future bust highly rated recruit, it doesn't take talent to move the ball throwing slants on every single 3rd down like vandy, UT true freshmen were.. The only possibility of the defense being better is if the players have just been as equally bad as Granthams scheme and the young guys come in and just flat out make plays in the secondary.. Our LB's and Corners/Safeties have been bar none the worst I've ever witnessed in my lifetime and we have so many non sec Caliber kids on defense to the depths i've never seen or even close.. These kids suck, the scheme is even worse and puts them in impossible to succeed situations, and he's stuck with the older guys that just flat out can't be better than the young talented guys on this roster.. The Missouri game was very glaring proof of that on the back end.
If Trask can win this game by himself, it will flat out be the ultimate proof which I believe he already did anyway throughout the season.. That he is the most important player to HIS team in college football this year.. Trask year this year as time moves on people will truly understand how great and consistent he was, with ZERO defense, ZERO run game and ZERO blocking on the right side of the line that tried to get him broken in half game after game. Nobody was greater than him this football season, some may have been as good arguably but no one actually deserved the Heisman more than him. I NEVER thought i'd witness a QB have seasons like Rex and Wuerrfel did passing in those Spurrier offenses ever again in my lifetime, especially after watching this program the last decade offensively.. not only did he do what those legends did, he broke their records for a season, against ALL SEC teams and in just 11 games. Trask is now an all time Gator legend and he deserves every ounce of it from his story, wonderful human being and is a warrior and a winner.

To act like there are 4 NFL talent level pass catchers just riding on the bench all year waiting for 4 guys to sit out a game is hilarious, they must be really nice guys, and very mature too if they will be ready for a bowl game in these conditions.

does anyone read here, the same exact thing happened just last year. Van Jefferson, Freddie Swain, Hammond, Tyrie Cleveland, Perine ALL upper classmen and on NFL rosters right now. Florida hasn't recruited this well offensively since Urban was there
line is up to 7 and down to 65.. it moves anymore and you're going to actually have value on Gators getting more than a TD and the over again

Gators have a lot of depth and speed at the skill positions. More than any Big 12 team even with the Freshman coming in plus with the system Gators use most of the time the receivers are wide open because of motion and toute running. They have a ton of walk in TDs and Trask hits like 11 different RBs, TEs and WRs a game. But as you said the Gators defense is terrible. It won't be a problem with the offense but the defense. Oklahoma sure ain't Alabama.

im glad someone else pays attention and has watched this team play and not just stat box watching.. Guys are ALWAYS running wide open in Mullens system and Brian Johnson has started proving himself to be one of the next great up and comer OC play callers.. There might still be good value in this total here, and exactly OU is not Alabama.. I would not be shocked whatsoever if Gators can keep it within the number now, 7.5 is just too many points for any Big 12 team against a better roster. Stay tuned

@goin4 Lsu?? They were heavy favorites. I guess people think hey it's Florida they have players everywhere and trask can do it all. If the same thing happened to Oklahoma everyone could understand the line. But since it's am sec team, who cares. We'll see.
like what I'm seeing thus far lol!
