Off subject. Not trying to jack you're thread, Bro, but your write up for SC last week was spot on. I'm gonna take the ML (small) in the GA game unless you can talk me out of it. They should have easily had 17 pts by half time. GA's D is better by damn site than NCSU, but I'm not so sure that OKSU's D is so much improved that SC can't do something. If you don't have time for a write-up that's cool, but I'd like to have a SEC specialists opinion before I pull the trigger. What do you think? Thanks for your help.

i think you'll be cashing this one, JW... the more i think about what i saw from OSU, the more i think they are a 3 loss team (USC, Penn St for sure... possibly Iowa or some other middle of the road Big 10 team)... not even sure if they play Iowa this year... but Ohio St doesn't look like they have a lot to offer, especially on offense... or especially on defense... i don't even know... they both look slow and bad...

although i would say their late game 2-pt conversion defense looks spectacular...

USC has to really lay a fat egg to lose this game...

USC starting a freshman QB in the Shoe, OSU is not SD St.  this is a big time program with pride and top notch talent... This thread just makes me love OSU even more + the points... OSU blitz blitz blitz and make Barkley choke choke choke... This will be a nice wake up call for the freshman

Jwheels, you're right this looks like a mismatch, program-wise. I just wouldn't use the "L" word on this one, or any game for that matter. A freshman QB playing a national TV night game at the Horseshoe? Crazy stuff can happen. Look at BYU-Oklahoma. Granted it was an injury but that's kind of my point... I wouldn't read too much into the Navy game. Navy's a solid program and it was an obvious look-ahead for OSU... However that being said, historical numbers support your favorite play, although I personally wouldn't touch it... Saturday home CFB underdogs in September from +220 to +240 are a dismal 4-18. Three of the wins were in the +230 to +235 range and three of them were night games... Just FYI... GL!
