Agree. If the line is around 14, most people will pound PSU here and USC's inconsistent offense isn't likely able to cover that.

Pound the under on this game. Will be a low scoring slug fest. USC should win but maybe not a cover. If it drops below 10 hit SC BIG. Can't wait!

USC and Penn St. are pretty close offensively, but USC's defense is other-worldy this year.

I agree alwayson. I don't think USC gets to 34 though. I think they will score anywhere from 24-30pt and I think you are right on with Penn St. in the 10-13pt range. It will probably be a low scoring defensive first half then SC will pull away late for the cover.

Let's see, if Penn-State wins, some of the public from Penn-State win. If USC wins, MOST of the public wins and spends the money in blackjack and roulette! Who do you think Vegas wants to win? (to cover the spread that is).

Don't know which way I'm leaning yet....USC will get to show if they are legit or not.

And Penn State is pissed because they are not in the national championship. 

Should be a closer game than USC -12

PSU had trouble moving the ball against OSU and likely would have lost to OSU were it not for Pryor's fumble.
USC blew out OSU.  I understand Beanie was out but don't think that would help OSU def much (ie. OSU more ball-control) and USC was at home but game is in Pasadena so crowd will be pro-USC.

USC or nothing here.

You're totally right!  USC 14th in nation in points scored (37.5 PPG) and 14th in total offense (452.8 YPG). 

They are statistically similar to Penn State in almost every facet of this game.  I'm still on USC but when I read ridiculous claims like this, I need to put people in their place.

USC's offense is NOT bad but simply inconsistant.  All it has to do is come to play for one more game and Carroll and his coaching staff is maybe the best at gameplanning and execution when you give them time to scheme.

Expectations with USC are astronomical. EVen as they sit as the 14th best total offense, people still say they suck. They have to be lights out for people to even be impressed.
 
I admit, our offense is WAY down. Its not as sexy as we're use to. Our offensive line is the key. When the offensive line plays well, game over. But they are terrible this year.
 
This game should be a blow out. But I'll be conservative and give PSU's defense some repsect.

i think usc smashes them here, as every year some sacrificial lamb comes into the rosebowl from the big 10 and gets rolled on.
 
This shit is becoming boring to watch, I wish USC was in a different bowl game for once to play a school like florida or alabama
