In fact, I avoid using such a word at all costs because I don't want to be aligned with the so-called 'covers experts' who charge a tidy sum for their picks.

And I do look in the mirror when it comes to the AAC. I've made a hell of a lot of people a hell of a lot of money on two consecutive POY's that not only hit comfortably, but won by a combined margin of 100-28 on two spreads of -3 a piece.

I don't care about the final score, only the win, but when I get called out on it, I think I do look in the mirror and know what the hell I am doing when it comes to that conference. Don't you? Probably not. Burned you for $100 too which was far sweeter than anything in my account. Anyhow, yes move on. You are the one who came back to the thread and I am here to respond. I have been capping Saturday's games since Sunday. I have several on the docket I have to narrow down. Lots of good plays. It's a shame to see the best betting league go away so soon.

Saying you have an area of expertise is NOT the same as touting you are an EXPERT you fool.  There is nuance in communication.

Calling yourself a "Covers Expert" has a different connotation than, in a sentence, saying you 'have an expertise' at something. One is far more impactful. You don't think the alleged "Experts" on this site didn't know this when they advertised themselves as such?
