First thing I notice about breaking down this match up is Florida has a much better offense then Bama's one. Florida ranks 12th in the nation in YPG. Bama ranks 40th in tha nation in YPG.
Another thing I notice is Alabama faced two opponents all year that are ranked in the top 25 or better in total defense. The same can be said for Florida as well. Those two oppenets were South Carolina and Tennesse. Lets take a look on how Greg McElory faced aganist those two teams. Aganist South Carolina he went 10-20 with 90 passing yards and 2 INTS. Aganist Tennesse he went 18-29 with 120 passing yards. In both those games he had 0 ZERO passing TD's and both those games were played at home. In those two games went for 28/49 57% with 0 TD, 2 INT, and a DISMAL 4.3 Y/A. Now he must face a Florida defense that is number 1 aganist the pass and also ranks as the nations best defense in PPG. They very well could be the quickest secondary in the nation.
This will be by leaps and bounds the best and fastest defense Greg McElroy has faced in his short career. I highly doubt that Urban will be afraid to put 8 in the box. If that is the case I will be shocked if Bama has any type of running game. That means it will be on Greg's hand and yeaaaaa I'm not so sure about that.
There was only 1 game this season in which Florida was "in a battle to the end". First let me say that "in a battle to the end" is being in a 1 possesion game with 5 minutes to go or less. That was aganist Ark in which they had 4 fumbles. Florida shot themselves in the foot. Bama played two close games in Auburn and Tennesse. In both those games Bama very well could have lost. They are EXTREMELY beatable as we seen this year.
Urban Meyer is already one of the greatest college coachs of all time. He has 2 national championships and 1 BCS bowl game win all in the last 6 years. Tim Tebow is great leader and going for his 3rd national title. I'll take the better coach and better QB. Florida Gators 2009 SEC CHAMPIONS
Florida Gators= -5.5 50 Units
Florida Gators ML= -230 units to win 100 units

Glad to see I am not alone on the Florida money line. Alabama has a good team but I still think Florida has a great team. This is Patriots/Bama Vs. Saints/Florida at the college level. Looks like a hell of a game on paper but one Florida will run away with it like the Saints did.
Florida is not stupid. They are gonna force Macleroy to throw the football and I too believe that is where the game will be dedided in Florida's favor. How can anybody honestly say that they think Macelroy is ready for this situation?

But seriously.... Bama is garbage... if they lose the SEC Championship they dont even deserve to go to the Sugar Bowl! They are a disgrace to undefeated teams everywhere!

Playing in only "one battle to the end" could be a disadvantage in a tight game w so much on the line...
Not so sure about that. The Florida defense has a TON of experience. Every starter back from last year. Tim Tebow is by far the most experienced college football player today.......

You are correct, Florida D and Tebow both have tons of experience. But they havn't had much experience w close games to the wire. Winning a couple nailbiters, especially coming from behind (as Bama has) can be invaluable in a game like this one...

Florida played in the BCS title game and conference title game last year. Think thats a lot already. Besides what does it really matter anyway? Does it make them run faster? Or make them stronger? A lot of it will come down to the coaches and their play calling. Add that with the adjustments they make as the game goes on.

Another important stat to this game is the "Yard Margins" stat. This stat looks at how both your offense and defense is performing. Florida did not get outgained by any team the entire year. Tennesse outgained Alabama by over 100 yards and Auburn outgained them as well. Take it for what it's worth. Florida Gators roll here!!!

I'm on the other side because of Saban's penchant for not wanting to drop this one two years in a row. He is good with defense and I think he has been working the shit out of that unit to stop Tebo.
Can Bama score points? Doubt it, especially with their Haus @ Tailback with a bum leg. I think the line will be up to 6 by Sat and I'm going to buy up to 7.5 and take the under on a small parlay. this one might be better for viewing than betting
