LSU/Bama
then Arkansas/UGA... then little farther down is South Carolina.. then the ball drops to get to the rest.. Miss State, Florida, Vandy..
SEC has 0 depth this year and I think that will show in the bowl games..
Tappy, LSU will win against anyone they play in the NC.....not just OSU. LSU would give the Indy Colts a game.
These post go away with a College Football playoff system.....and yes....the SEC will win more playoff games than any other conference.

SEC is astep above every other conference. Every team has top notch training facilities, and now they are reaping the rewards of winning 5 in a row--recruiting.
Now they get Missouri AND Tex A&M. Wow.
Get used to it. They are there to stay, if you follow college FB. The fans of the SEC are annoying--the most annoying, and they are easily deluded and understandably miopic.
Oregon had their chance last season, and beg. of this year. No passing game from the Ducks, and a soft defense (esp. this year as opposed to last yr's.).
You need a balanced offense that moves the chains and score at least once/quarter. Maybe Georgia has that. They do run the ball well. That is a tiny possibility for Okie St, Va Tech or Stanford.
Otherwise, yeah, I agree, Alabama NOT having to play but being essentially locked up for a spot---fair? No.
Coaches should NOT vote in the BCS--they don't even watch the games from all these teams--this is a lame ass rule.

I have seen the predicted bowl game matchups.
Ok St is 6 SOS and Bama is 31 SOS. Who wants to see a rematch with LSU? Bama lost at home. Scored 0 in OT. Looked bad doing it.

Wow. What a moron. Sure OSU's opponents have more "quality" wins but look who they are against...ALL BIG12 schools. The Big 12 is nothing but an overratted arena league conference minus MAYBE Oklahoma. Seriously, ANY team that loses to a team like Iowa St. should automatically be exempt from any discussion of playing in the MNC.
I do agree with you that the BCS is flawed. How they can use those garbage computer rankings is beyond me. Seriously, the Big 12 is not a good conference from top to bottom it just appears that way b/c all of the medicore teams just beat up on other medicore teams. You will see what happens next year when TA&M and Mizzo join the SEC, neither team will finish great than .500 in the conference, and that my friend, you can take to the BANK.

Yeah, South Carolina is worse than UGA because they beat them on their home field and have the same record.

I'll go with the polls
and the computer
and Sports Illustrated
and the the tv ratings on CBS
and the last 5 years
by saying the SEC is NOT overrated
They DELIVER THE GOODS

wow, dude! you just fell into one of the biggest logical fallacies there is... Logic 101, day 1... this is known as "Affirming the Consequent"... or better known as "putting the cart before the horse"...
you are basically saying... the SEC is better because the SEC teams have to play other SEC teams... and the Big 12 sucks because they get to play Big 12 teams...
that argument cuts both ways...
the fact is... STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE establishes it's baseline NOT from the games where Big 12 teams play other Big 12 teams, or SEC teams play other SEC teams... IT COMES FROM WHAT TEAMS DO OUT OF CONFERENCE!
the reason the Big 12 is getting the benefit of the doubt is because their OOC performance has been better than anybody else's...
there is no opinion involved in my end of the discussion... i couldn't care less which is the right side, as long as i know what that side is... i am in it to win it! unlike you guys, who are trying to defend an UNTENABLE position, simply to protect your dogma...
do you know what that is called in the real world: FANATICISM!
