We'll head into the NEW ORLEANS BOWL 1-1.  WYOMING outright a reminder that anything can happen in these games; CFU a reminder that some bowl teams should eat their fuckin oranges and forget about football...Dark tomorrow, next Bowl Tues.  MY TOP BOWL PLAY (assuming no suspensions, no big injuries, no Coaching changes, no crazy Acts of God!!) GOES THURS 31st...

MTSU hasn't lost a game since OCT 17...6 straight wins, 6 straight blowouts....only one of them not double-digits!  SoMiss lost 2 of last three, and 5 point loss to ECU not really as close as the score.  Maybe a bit misleading..haven't really been a healthy squad.  But RB Fletcher is now supposed to be 100%, as he goes so this team goes.  QB Young has thrown only ONE INT all season.  And this is a Team that knows Bowling...8 years in a row...and has covered the last 3 NewOrleans Bowls.  SoMiss shows a 7-2 ATS history vs. Sun Belt teams.  Played Kentucky, Clemson, ECU, and Kansas this season...a bit stronger schedule strength than M-T!!  In fact, this is only the 2nd EVER Bowl for MTSU, losing to CentMich in '06 by 17.  Oh...as for that 6-0 late season Blue Raider run...keep in mind those wins came over SunBelt teams with a combined record of 24-48.  If you're leaning Totals, keep in mind this Bowl has gone Over last 4 years.  I'm not touching that, but know where my money is going....SO MISS - 3.5

Against the public here, I'm looking for Max and Co. to end the season the same way they started it.  Remember the whacking of OKLA on a neutral field?  Throwing records aside, still think Stoops' boys a cut above these Beavers.  Always think the dog in ANY PAC10 or BIG10 BOWL is worth a look regardless of the number.  A few technical angles here but you guys don't much give a damn about them...but I like a short dog with an experienced QB and a decent "D" against a team that's won 2 consecutive Bowls.  I like this dog...I LIKE THEM A LOT!!

O-H-W I'll lean before Kick-off

POINSETTIA BOWL-One thing that is evident here...like 'em or not, the Utes know how to prepare for a Bowl Game.  Isn't that true Alabama fans?  Totally demolished the Tide last year, their 8th straight Bowl win.  So, time for it to end?  Did you watch last night's game!!  Exactly why Bowl handicapping is different than regular season.  While "on paper" and "based on schedule strength" sounds great, the fact of the matter is simple:  SOME CONFERENCES simply have a style of play that SOME CONFERENCES do NOT match-up well with!  I've noticed a few threads saying last nights refs were "bought out"...WTF, what game were you watching!  Maybe I'm wrong here, but I mentioned yesterday that in any PAC10 or BIG10 Bowl Game, give a good look at the Dog.  1-0 so far.  Tonight makes 2-0.  Utah lost AT BYU by 3 pts in OT.  CAL lost at home to OREG ST by 14!!  UTAH lost to OREG Ducks by only 7, were outyarded only by 15!!  UTES have allowed only 13ppg in 21 of their last 22 games...CAL lost by 39 points to Washington.  WASHINGTON??!!  Keep in mind that in those last 8 Bowl wins, UTES have allowed  17 pts. ONLY ONCE!!  CAL?? 2 YRS ago, a comparable AIR FORCE team controlled them for half the game, then lost theit QB...and the game, 42-36.  Also mentioned yesterday that I like a proven short dog against a team that's off 2 straight Bowl Wins.  I might not have Max Hall tonight, but I do have a decent Defense.  And more importantly, a team that know how to win Bowl Games.  Can't understand how ANY team can get demolished by WASHINTON in their last out...and be favored over a class team.  Could be wrong, but I gotta like the UTES...I gotta like 'em ALOT!!

2 EASY winners in a row...so how frickin OVER-RATED IS THE PAC10?  Back above .500 @ 3-2...hopefully the roll continues tonight...
