MUSIC CITY BOWL--Let's see, the SEC has won this Bowl for three straight years, with the 'Cats getting 2 of them...as a matter of fact, won this 3 years ago (+10) over Tigers.   And today they're catching a TD from an inconsistent squad that has always had a tendencey to have meltdowns in big games and Bowl Games?  Clemson has not covered a Bowl since 2003...and limps into this one off 2 tough losses.  Coulda been a BCS player, instead playing in Nashville.  And they're laying a TD to a stronger conference and a team that's won 3 straight Bowls.  I can't trust my money with a team that lost outright at Maryland..grab the 7 while you still can!!

Will get the early TUESDAY play posted tonight to avoid a repeat of today's post/time debacle!  Will post EagleBank match-up (Miami-Wisky) Tues late afternoon.  Just a reminder, my TOP BOWL PLAY of the season goes THURSDAY...

EAGLEBANK BOWL-- How can a team playing only it's 3rd Bowl Game in school history NOT be pumped to play this one?  And how can a team limping in ONLY because ARMY (yes, ARMY!) lost be motivated?  Not to mention leaving the warmth of Cal. and going into the lovely cold, snowy weather of D.C.?  I don't need to hear the "strength of schedule" crap...didn't work for SoMiss, didn't work for Fresno, OregSt, or CAL either.  I'll take a cold-weather team that ran the ball for over 200 yds in their last 6 games against a team that's struggled to run.  I'll take the team that has shown the ability to score points.  Maybe not the better team, but in this weather...I'll take the motivated team with all kinds of intangibles and a handful of points.  And an underrated Coach...who was a finalist for the UCLA job in 2007...and turned down.  A "Golden" Payback?  Go Owls...

CHAMPS SPORTS BOWL--I mentioned at the beginning of this thread...that if I like a Game ALOT, I would mention that I like the Game ALOT!  So far...I've had 2 "ALOT's"...BYU and Utah, both outright winners.  The ACC has won this Bowl game 6 straight years.  Wisky has lost 2 Bowls in a row, last year embarrassed by FlaSt in a game that the Badgers had damn near as many TO's as points!  Also last year, Miami played it's ass off to lose a close one as a big dog.  One big difference to note:  last year they were expected to get blasted...this year they're not.  Badgers avg over 200 rushing/gm...thats big in a Bowl Game.  John Clay is a stud.  A frickin horse!  But these guys can throw when they have to...also over 200 yds/gm.  As much as I believe the Big10 an Over-rated conference, I still think a cut above the ACC.  As good as Randy Shannon is as a Coach, I think Brett B"etter".  Just think a more balanced attack here.  Yep, Miami's potent...but as Harris goes, so do the 'Canes.  Think Wisky can contain him and control the clock with Clay's legs.  And as I also eluded to earlier in the thread, have to look at ANY dog in PAC10 and BIG10 Bowl Games...so far 2-1 ATS PAC 10 and this the Big10's 1st go...I'm going with it, I think the better team here...like the Badgers, like 'em   ALOT!

Here's the early WED play, will post Holiday Bowl match-up (Neb-Zona) late afternoon tomorrow.  Just a reminder, my TOP BOWL PLAY of the season goes THURSDAY...

HUMANITARIAN BOWL--2 opposite trends here...IDAHO came out of the gate like blockbusters, tailed off some late season.  BG off to a slow start, finished strong.  If you've haven't seen Tyler Sheehan and Freddie Barnes, get ready for a show...no huddles, wildcats, multitudes of formations, and lots of passing!  2 guys that will be playing on Sunday...Sheehan 7th in DIV1 Total Offense and Barnes leads the country with catches and TD's.  But NO "D"..as in NO "D"!!  Virtually a home game for Idaho...but BG's been competitive on the road.  Biggest advantage??  BG has big TO advantage here, +5 while Vandals stand -9.  All the makings of a real shootout here, don't really think either team is capable of shutting down the other.  And both are plenty capable of scoring.  In bunches.  Gonna go with both Side and Total in this one:
