bullshit. this will be an AWSOME game but i want to know if TCU is as good as everyone says. i say you really dont know. now that we are givin the chance to see and find out it gets shoved up our ass in a game with another mid major school. cant wait to watch it but like i said i would like to see if TCU can bang with Florida. Give me that matchup garbage BCS

know y they wont put tcu vs florida or any other bcs school because
bcs knows tcu would dominated the big boys for one game because theyre disappointed for not playing in the big one themselves

They can quiet the anti trust/monopoly rumblings. And alsonotsuffer any embatassment should both ofthem win against the BCS schools. This way they can still claim that the non BCS schools still don't belong. So next year, the SEC will stay in the south and play all the Sun Belt teams as non-conference opponents. What a joke!

This really is BS........it's looks like they threw an extra game in there just to placate the non-BCS confs.

Your're right about that. But they didn't expect to have two teams eligible. It's mainly a cash grab by the BCS conferences and they unexpectedly lost a spot this year. So they match the non BCS guys up thereby avoiding any embarrasing losses by their brethren.

F. I totally agree but interesting point shakey!

I won't take TCU or Boise seriously unless they beat someone big. Yes, Boise beat OK a few years ago but OK dicked around for 3 qtrs then had to scramble and lost. Made for a great game but I maintain a focused OK team wins by 20. 

Anyway this is crap. I was hoping for TCU vs Fla in fiesta and Boise vs. Cincy in Sugar. Oh well. 
I never looked at it like that shakey if they won then the BCS would probably have to gaurantee a spot to an outside conference and that would potentially cost a big boy team 14 million.

its insulting....they found a way to give the BCS system credibility (or more appropriately, not to have it further bashed).....if they match these two up with 2 majors and both win convincingly, people would go nuts......now they can play each other to 5 OTs and it won't mean shit

Totally agree....even though Boise/TCU will be a great game and possibly the best of the bunch imo...a great chance for these teams to prove themselves were ruined

Much better choices for all parties involved would have been

Florida/TCU

Boise/Ga Tech

Cincy/Iowa

Just my .02

You have to wonder how much $ was offered to the Fiesta Bowl to "bite the bullet" and take 2 non BCS teams. Smells like dead fish to me.

landis.  your comment makes no sense.  They haqve been competing for a while.  recent wins over OU and Oregon. 

 

In my opinion they and TCU are any bit as good as Bama, TCU, and UT.

yea this is bs...both teams should just decided not to play if possible...it will be a great game..but every 1 wants to see if these teams can match the big guyz

We all know TCU and Boise could hang with the big boys years ago when Boise beat Oklahoma and Utah Beat Bama last year. But I do agree with you that this match up is not enticing.
