Hell, knowing the SEC is easily the best conference and no one else comes close is one of the main reasons most SEC-haters hate the SEC.
Wrong again. I’ve already said Utah was the better team that day.
Alabama wanted no part of that game and they played like it while to Utah that was the biggest game in the history of their football program and they played like it. That is one of the most dramatic swings in motivation you can have for a college football bowl game.
While Utah was the better team that day I don’t think they were the better team that season. If they had played in the national championship game I think Bama most likely wins by DD.
While I do disagree with you in part at least you are doing a decent job of pleading your case.

The Utah vs Alabama game is like beating a dead horse, it's time to move on.
This is what comes along with being so good for so many years, along with being in the SEC.
But by no means should we called each others favoite team, another teams bitches if they lost a game, because they didn't show up and play well.
Any game another team can win.
Hope we all become friends threw the years, and not ememys. We love college football and we damn well love our teams.

Using yours and a few others " logic" or lack of, one could assume that James Madison is the better team, simply because Virginia Tech didn't show up after imploding against Boise in their first game last season. But no, that couldn't be possible, because teams never have let downs, and those kids always respond well to adversity. Great job Scooter
