buckeye fan here and I agree with your sentiments on the young bucks. word out of camp is that you will see a regression from the power spread urban is know for in the 614 back to his style he ran in Gainesville when he had demps rainy percy and aaron hernandez... and yes urban recruited him knowing he was a murderer lol.. brionte dunn is out. in Columbus if you play football and you look breathe or think about looking of breathing on a woman wrong you are out. so dunn found the doghouse from a domestic violence issue, hes done. from what im reading dontre Wilson curtis Samuel and mike webber will all see significant time and will all be on the field at times. some of the tight ends were interviewed after tis weekends scrimmage and apparently the progrssions on a large % of plays have changed from 3 and 4 to 1 and 2. so expect urban to lean on the tight ends a bit more this year... just me 2 pennies

I'm not buying this at all. MSU has a solid D and a decent, not great fifth year senior QB. Dantonio is the best motivator in the BIG10 if not all of college football. Notre Dame has appeared to have MSU's number and I expect a lose there. After that, Michigan, OSU, and the final at Penn St are their biggest threats and I'm expecting a win in one of those three games. Thinking three loses, tops.
Speaking of Penn State. Expecting Penn St to be the possible sleeper team in the BIG10. That stretch from game two, Pitt, then Temple, and at Mich. will decide if they are legit or not. They have the weapons to be really good, Barkley may have his best year, but losing several D linemen leaves concerns. Not too concerned about Stoops leaving as Pry gets promoted to the job, so not anticipating much changing there.
I took Penn St OV 7 wins at even money. A good bet or a foolish waste of money?

With the spread and a dual threat QB believe they can. Hackenburg was a square peg in a round hole, immobile target that seemed like he was always looking downfield too long. Franklin now has the personel to fit his O in his third year.
