Without knowing who these two teams are.....look at the resume.
Both are 11-1....
One has played a much more harder schedule, Right?
It's clear to see that. IF you dont see that, then you dont understand football.
Sorry if that bothers you. But it's true.
So why is Team "B" clearly so much further ahead in the polls than the Team "A"? Not to mention that team "A" only loss was on the road and Team "B" loss was at HOME.
How?
ESPN.... the Media.... the Dumb, Slow and ball sucking talking heads everywhere manipulating college football.

leave it to a useless clemson fan to show jealousy
There is more to evaluating which team is better then a simple comparison of schedules. Is it fair to Bama that they had to potentially play the ONE team in the country that might be better than them, during the regular season? IMO, you have to weigh several factors. A simple eye test, who is better, Bama or OSU? To me personally, Bama wins that. So Bama wins the eye test. Plays in the tougher conference. Lost to the best team while OSU lost to a terrible team. And somehow it's a given that OSU should be in ahead of Bama? I don't see it. I'm not saying OSU doesn't have an argument, they do. I'm just saying I can see why Bama would get in ahead of them.

I don't understand why anyone (besides Bama fans) would want to watch the rematch, would prove nothing. I also don't think it would be a blow out either though. OSU would score some points, no doubt. And their defense looked good last night.

Bama had their shot, Okie State vs LSU is a game I'd love to see. I think the Cowboys defense showed a lot vs the Sooners and can contain LSU. I just want to see the Tigers D against Weeden and crew

UCLA lost 50-0 to AP No. 10 USC last week, is 6-6 and is a 32-point underdog heading into Friday's matchup against No. 8 Oregon. But regardless of the Bruins' outcome against the Ducks, UCLA is heading to a bowl game. That's a byproduct of the Trojans' being bowl ineligible and the Bruins' brand recognition. It's not a byproduct of great football. If that were the case, I doubt they would be taking applications for a new head coach.
Face it: Bowl games are the new participation medal. Except instead of a piece of gold-painted plastic, middle-of-the-road teams are given hundreds of thousands of dollars, gift bags and postseason practice time. I'm sure the Bruins worked as hard as they could for that .500 record, but hard work doesn't mean they or any other team with fewer than nine wins should get a bowl game. That's like putting community theater on Broadway because the locals gave them a standing O. Sometimes you're just not good enough, and that's part of the college experience too.
The NCAA has allowed members' greedy eyes to dilute football to the point where someone can say his alma mater won the "Fancy Housewares Bowl." and you would have to Google it to see whether such a game even exists. I know the wussification of our culture has claimed many victims, but who would've thought the game of titans would erode to this degree? Whatever happened to programs being, I don't know, proud?

Sorry guys. The truth hurts
Oppennetts wins Team b 84 Oppennetts wins Team a 81 So who really has played the tougher schedule? This i sunbiased based on opps records no tthe polls obvious bias towards the Big 12 which has gotten the benifit t ofhte doubt 2 other times and promptly got blown out in BCS title game. People dont buy into the Big 12 hype machine cause in reality the SEC is the best conference again headlined by 2 best teams in nation opps records do not lie those biased big 12 people do

I could really break this down... But it would really just waste my time and yours. Why? Because judging by your response you wouldn't understand anyways.

this comes from alabama grad and heart is here but i dont disagree
me and a buddy got into it yesterday as I said we had our shot in our house and choked it away... okie st resume is better than ours but honestly bama would be 11-1 in that schedule or 12 0 too... I will not be mad how it plays out, but am good with the outcome regardless...
now when we play them again and probably beat them we will be split national champions and that sux.... period plan and simple....
