Ohio St. reminds me of that Notre Dame team from a few years ago that Bama demolished- only better offensively- the same thing will happen this year in my opinion- maybe not quite as bad but their will be similar results

I think we've seen this movie before (OSU/Florida......OSU/LSU). Ohio State looks impressive vs Wisconsin because they have slightly more athletic versions of the same type athletes. When they head south the athletic differential is exposed. Bama by as many as they like.

Until we get to an 8 team format, the committee will have endless arguments like this.....

At least with 8 teams, all of the 'power 5' wll get a team in

I think this will all be answered and settled during and after the Bama v Ohio game.

If its a tight close down to the wire game them they might be justified but if BAMA blows them out then Baylor has a legit beef.

IMHO... The fact that they won with a "3rd String QB" in the one sided manner they did may have just persuaded the committee to believe that Ohio is the better team.  I think the loss of B. Miller was a bonus for Ohio for this very reason.

Regardless of who should/shouldn't be in, got in, or whatever, this is LIGHT YEARS better than the BCS System, which would probably have FSU playing Bama, and FOUR teams complaining about not getting in.

This is just the first step to the 8 team playoff.

This is incorrect!  The BCS system would DEFINITELY have pitted Oregon against Bama in the Championship game, with everybody bitching about FSU not getting in... I have always supported a playoff... but all we are getting this year is 2 games that are a waste of time, leading up to the inevitable same matchup the BCS would have given us...

Tcu has no claim to getting in cuz they didn't win their conference.   Baylor is the one w the claim but when yur dealing w these subjective factors this is what happens.

Yep, and we played a total of 0 FCS schools. They also played 10 teams who are bowl eligible. How many did TCU play? I'll give you a hint, it's not 10.

You're counting Wisconsin as a signature victory... Wisconsin is ranked 10 spots lower than Oklahoma in power ranking polls (all of them!), and played the 54th ranked schedule, vs. OU who played the 24th ranked schedule... 

Calling someone clueless is meaningless!  Showing they are clueless is another matter... you continue to prove your mettle!

Forgot Baylor for some reason, would also maybe include Kansas state. But Oklahoma and West Virginia are hilarious. The Big 12 is like a mens flag football league. Outside of Texas, nobody plays D or even cares to try to. Put them in a cold weather game with a physical team and they'll be screwed.

Hate to break it to you Mr Legend in your Own Mind, but the computers had TCU 5th, behind OSU. Sagarin and massey are the only ones to have TCU above them. LMAO Do you honestly think linemakers use Sagarin?  LMAO

Over half their roster is from the state of Ohio alone. I never said they didn't have a few players from the South.

maybe the 12 years of bitterness over the Hurricanes loss in the Fiesta bowl clouded your memory, but here is a short list of some guys Urban managed to get to Ohio:
Joey Bosa- from Ft. Lauderdale (b10 defensive POY this year)
JT Barrett--from Texas (decent job as a backup QB this year)
Vonn Bell--Rossville, GA--I'm sure all those SEC schools probably didn't want him
Raekwon McMillan--Hinesville, GA (#1 MLB in class by Rivals LY)
Dontre Wilson--Texas--who Meyer says is the most talented H back he has ever had, which I guess means better than all the great ones he had in the 6 years as the Gators coach

there is no reason baylor and tcu would have scheduled any differently considering that neither had any aspirations of making the playoffs before the season began

Come on man, the point is Meyer knows what he needs to compete with the boys from the South.  He has been recruiting more nationally than Tressel ever did.  Doesn't mean he is necessarily there yet and that OSU will win but it is definitely what he is working to obtain.
