Can you not bet UW games in Washington?
Serious question as 1) historically you could not vegas events in vegas, 2) was thinking of driving many mile to get and watch game.. New casino/hotel North of Portland on I5 is awesome. (Technically casino is new-ish, hotel is brand-new)

@jimrockford22
In the state of Washington, you cannot bet any collegiate event involving a state school......... can't even bet a player for Heisman.

No. WA doesn't allow online gambling (I have BM, but I like to collect now and not pay $55 each time I withdraw), but all the tribal casinos have a sportsbook. You just can't bet on any WA collegiate team or props. I had a seat booked at the Tulalip Casino sportsbook for the NC game, but just cancelled cuz what's the point? Lol. They're showing the game in some movie theaters, which was pretty cool.

I live about 10 mins. from the Tulalip casino & about 20 mins. from Angels.......& I actually prefer goin to Angels. Tulalip uses DK's & I've grown tired of their limitations, bad lines, the foot-long tix, the kiosks running out of paper, etc.

Actually work at one of these property’s. Angels Sportsbook is awful.
also why not just place bets through the mobile app to avoid the lines?
Should be a good game. Go Blue!

@THEMUGG
Everett? Lol. Ditto. I work in Redmond tho, and go to Snoqualmie after work sometimes. Angels and Snoqualmie use the same system (separate from any major sportsbook), and I think it just depends on which lines you can get. I've gone out of my way to drive to Snoqualmie cuz one line I wanted to bet was +310 vs Tulalip's DK at +220. But whatever that system Angels uses tends to be, imo, a bit worst than DK on most major professional sports. Live betting on that system too blows compared to DK (again, my opinion). The foot long tix, I absolutely agree tho haha. Plus the etiquette at Tulalip seems to be lacking. Dudes standing next to the kiosks and ruining whatever everyone else is watching on the screen lol.

@DynastyOne
The book itself is small. I don't hang out there, & I never have to wait in line for any kiosk. I wish more people would figure it out. People are still going to the window to place bets & it does get old waiting to cash a ticket on occasion.
@ppmbryan
I asked someone at Angels where they get their lines & I think he said IGA(?) ......can't recall exactly. It might just be timing but I swear every time I go to Tulalip their lines are against me, lol. Their options for betting golf suck. I've been there twice, mid-week before a major, & they didn't even have odds to win available.

The casino I referenced with Ilani, just north of Vancouver , Wa
Awesome hotel. Design and operation are both impeccable. Helps that the Hotel is brand-new.
Anyways, thanks to you guys, I won't be spending 7-8 hours of my day to try to to get UW bet at Tulalip.. Might still go to Oregon and bet UW.. Does Spirit Mountain (correct name?) have a sports book

Yes, Spirit Mountain and Chinook Winds are the two northern Oregon sportsbooks where you can bet on college games. Ilani is cool, but man, I lose hard whenever I go there lol

As for the service they use, yeah, I just checked it out. Also saw some guy in Spokane pushed for sports legalization, but didn't wanna see phones out in grocery lines and in church, so made it that now you have to drive to a casino... So dumb.
I feel ya, I've stood in line at the window cuz I want to bet a certain amount and want change, not a Withdrawal slip to exchange for change, but then there's always 2 guys making these bonkers 15-team parlays with the attendant, and I end up running to a kiosk anyways. Like, come prepared, and if you're gonna take a while, use a fucking kiosk! However, I've also seen dudes pull up chairs to kiosks like they own them
I get it, not everyone has been to Vegas, and don't know sportsbook etiquette, but it's really not hard to figure out.
Thanks for reading my rant lol

youre not missing anything in vegas, plenty of suckas at the window still trying to figure out what they're going to do while the rest of us are trying to cash our tickets

Forget the regular season it’s such a joke they missed out on taking action for the Pac 12 title game, the Texas game, and the Natty.
Banning regular season action is absurd in itself but post season?!
Not to mention the sky high juice and if you get the app you still have to be on tribal property to bet. What a joke…

I want a Yes/No bet on whether WA college teams will be available to bet on by the start of the 2024-25 CFB season in WA state. The legislator suggested "might be tweaked down the road"... well, get tweaking dudes.

Let everyone bet from their app from home and open up action for/against WA schools. There has to be a substantial monetary value to doing both. NV and other states are a decade ahead of WA…

Literal quote from WA legislator
"We intended from the start to keep it limited and responsible - I don't really want to see gaming in grocery lines or during church services... So if someone wants to gamble, they should make a conscious decision and drive somewhere responsibly to game. It shouldn't be at your fingertips 24/7." - Rep Marcus Riccelli.
Tell this moron he's a fucking idiot.
