YTD ATS 3-1 ML 1-2 Diaz is a crap coach and Miami is a crap program. How many "fans" will actually show up? Free tickets again for Canes? They are allowed 25% capacity I read. How many Blazer fans will make the trip? A successful Veteran team with an easy win and game under their belt vs Manny Paperbag Diaz and his band of crackheads that could not make it a shitter programs. So the little QB from Houston with no receivers, no RBs and especially no offensive line is going to run the SMU system, yeah that worked great for him in Houston last years with the WVU coach trying to do the same except he had a hell of a lot more talent around hi mm and better coaching. Canes are missing their best line man all their LBs from last year and have issues with following game plans and basic rules of the game. Diaz will be gone just like Taggert was before the year is out because first he can't coach, second he cannot make the right decisions off the field or on it. The U has been a mess for a long, long time and being in refugees from around the country shows their inability to recruit Florida which means your a loser guiding a loser team

What do you like about the Canes Oline Eddy? The research I did made all made it seem like a paste job. Do you think he has more talent on offense then that big SI article about. "Houston's Offense is running at Hyper Speed is pacing the Group of Five" with Applewhite, Briles and the really good defense lead by Ed Oliver. Always felt King padded his stats big time vs bad teams and ran the score up in the no huddle up by 30 with ten minutes left. You know I always respect your knowledge and input Fast Eddy. Just from what I could read and find on YouTube Canes offensive line was a major work in progress. Dallas is gone at RB as are all the top Wrs. I thought UAB passed the eye test on defense last week with the offense giving up on TD and the back ups giving up the two late garbage TDs. Also the Blazers return everyone of not back on both sides of the ball. Cane's best defensive lineman decided to pass on this season and get ready for NFL, A wise decision IMHO if a player is already established as an elite talent destined for the NFL I would not play this year and work out for the NFL draft. Also the strength of Miami was its Dline and Line backers Rosseau the main threat and dominating heart of the defense not being there is a big hole. I am a Temple football and basketball fan getting one of my Masters from there I think Roche is a nice addition but for a "big time" program they stole two Temple head coaches but not the best one. I never felt Miami has had a big home field advantage since watney, way, way back at the old Orange Bowl when they most likely could have beaten some NFL teams. The turnover chain was great until it was the Canes being outclassed and outcoached by La Tech, Florida International, Duke, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and barely beating Central Michigan by five largely because the Chippewas three turnovers the last was on a game. Winning drive by CM with six seconds left that sealed the 30 points favorite a lucky five point win. Also, the special teams for Miami were horrible last year. Lots to fix. The Canes brought in Tate Martell from Ohio State to fix the Canes passing game and that was a disaster and athe QB situation was starter being a game time flip of the coin. King was 1-3 starting for a highly regarded preseason team especially on offense but Tune looked better then King who is fast for sure but doesn't have much touch, throws the ball away too quickly or takes losses running around in the backfield. The entire UAB offense returns, literally the entire first team plus players that missed the season because of injury who were starters especially at running back they go three deep now. Four year starter at TE all four leading receivers are back, all SIX starters on the offensive line. A solid junior QB but also a solid backup who pushed and still pushing to be QB1. The defense literally returns everyone and their best cornerback that missed last year is back along with all conference corners. Both safeties return but their two best edge rushers are back and will be drafted. Along with a certain NFL linebacker who gets after or spied the QB all hisaggressive linebackers are back with him. UAB the most veteran group in all of CFB. They will play solid assignment football. They have all played in the same system and are talented and expected to win their conference going away. This is their Super Bowl. The Blazers have taken, experience, play solid football and man for man are as talented or more than the Canes. This year they are predicted to have more players drafted into the NFL. Finally coaching. It isn't close Bill Clark built UAB from absolutely Zero a defunct team to a Champion in a year. Every year they get better. These are all his guys and Clark is an excellent defensive mind

I think Frank is making some very valid points and I respect anyone who trys to make a compelling argument for a 2-TD underdog playing in prime time on the road. I don't believe D'Eriq King is worth what looks to be about a touchdown in the point spread. I would be willing to take a shot with a UAB team who can score points in a possible shootout. The over looks playable too. Nice write up Frank!

I had to take out like 3000 words for it to fit the 4000 words had more details on UAB position players and Miami position players first time starts and Diaz coaching blunders and Miami as a big fav vs a Minnow team under Diaz. Also, something musing of the U players maybe not sure football should be played and if it why play this non ACC team. Anywho. Did anyone watch last week's game? Or Miami getting beaten down by LA Tech in their bowl game? Since many Miami players decided to skip the game the guys that were on the field in that one will be starters tomorrow. I am actually going to take a ride to the casino tomorrow and lay down some money there also want to see who has the best setup with Covid. Miss not going to the dinners at 5am on Saturday and Sunday mornings then heading to Delaware Park or Sugarhouse or Harrah's. Man, thinking how heartbroken I was when Big East tournament was canceled seems like years ago but it was march and now into September and We are still in the shite.

UAB had positive Covid test some players not making the trip but no starters were among the reported positives "for now" Blazers QB is ranked #32 of all FBS QBs in terms of NFL draft. Hmmm

While I know what UAB showed last week was not who they really are, and they literally handed away 3 TDs.. I need to see more from them on D in a game like this, but the reality here is there's no way in hell im ever laying 2 scores with a Miami team. That's the whole point, UAB is the exact type of team that plays the style of tough ball to win games like this. It's either UAB with the points or absolutely nothing, and if Miami kills them somehow, i'd rather take the odds of that not happening.
As of now, the only way I see UAB getting beat badly by Canes is if they beat themselves again with sloppy stupidity. I'll never buy any good talk out of Miami off season camps without seeing it first, same with FSU. Florida was the same way for years with those awful level coaches that Canes and Noles are now having their down years cycle with.I know what guys like Diaz are, same with Enos as his OC last year. These guys are boring, uncreative, uneventful to watch football losers. These coaches can't win or even compete without massive level talent overhaul over their opponents

Everything seems based on Miamis hotshot QB who hasnt played a down yet for Miami---you are right on their coach he is trash...the team itself is barely at the level of mediocrity, can one "superstar" player make all the difference? Im counting on UAB to play with some pride and at least hang within the 14

This almost has La tech Mia part 2 written all over it. Miami was not only the worst 3rd down team in P5. But it was the worst in dam near all fbs. King is highly overrated. He is a one read qb who naturally doesn’t like to stay in the pocket. Unfortunately he isn’t explosive enough as a runner to provide a serious threat to a formidable defense. Couple that with their state of mind coming into this game and I have to imagine THIS IS UAB’s season. They will be up for this game. Miami? They start conference play next week and I just can’t see them getting up for any game with 20,000 people. If you saw their bowl game, you see how Miami feeds off energy. In the season opener last year they were motivated and fed off of that energy, on the opposite end in that La Tech bow game they looked checked out from kick off to handshake. I don’t trust Manny. I don’t trust the fickle mind state of Miami who needs energy. Most important, I do not trust D Erik king. He is not fit for this system and it is only a matter of time before the Defense side of the ball forms a mutinny against an offense that repeatedly goes 3 and out or 5/6 play drives. Which is a shame because this is absolutely a top 5 defense. I just think they will be in the field too much this season.

He's accounted for 62 touchdowns his last 15 games and you talk about him like some bum who doesn't know what he's doing. Good luck

Isn’t this the same guy who lost 9,000 units on Navy?.
Yep it is So what? My write was leaning towards BYU because Perry to me was best ,amazing playmaker in FBS last year thought since Olsen didn't get the start the other QB was going to be half as special game was a pick. So yeah I lost on a pickem game with the home team. The score doesn't matter lose by one or 100 doesn't matter in a PK game. Navy clearly made a huge misstep in having zero contact drills before the game. Also has Central Arkansas, South America both the line and huge ML, had Middle Tennessee State they lost by a million but cost the same to lose by a point or a million points. South Alabama ML paid big so I am the guy who had South Alabama big on ML. Also the guy that had Twxas State huge and the ML which they should have won SU but didn't. Don't know what game you ever picked put yourself out there with a write up on why Miami Canes win Big Guy or continue to be a little trolling bitch.

He is the guy who went 1-3 last year. That 2018 team had speed, speed and more speed. In close games he couldn't get it done. All those 2018 games where shootouts Half of those 62 came against Texas Southern, a really bad Tulsa team, coach fired, Rice, Bad East Carolina team, Prairie View, Navy. He was outdueled by Russo from Temple, crushed by Army and many other teams. His best game was very South Florida which was a good team and another shootout where King accounted for 7 TDs. That 2018 had fantastic speed and game breakers. Carr, Corbin, Stevenson, T. Williams, Lark, both Singletons an excellent offensive line, that run and gun offense was loaded. I am forgetting some of the other RBs, WRs but they were a really fun team to watch as they lit up the scoreboard but gave up a ton of points every game was a high scoring shot out

Frank, I am with you tonight and see the line at some books now (the last 30 minutes) at 15.5 while still most at 14.5 and wondering if some news is coming out to jump the line by one point. Either way Good Luck!

I just bet again at +'15.5 for 3000 units and 1000 units ML@+$490. Checking about the updated Covid testing. I didn't see anything different from a few back up players testing positive anyone else see any Covid related information pertaining to UAB? This Covid angle is going to be a mess. Every state has different rules every conference has different rules. Did Miami even test??
