I cant wait.
I cant wait.
Trust me, I am not an SEC homer....I miss the days when Notre Dame, FSU, and Miami were the power houses. Those days were awesome. The "rocket ismail", Miami speed on allsides of the ball, deion sanders, that QB for FSU that ended up playing in the NBA, etc...But, there has been a shift in power and it is ok to acknowledge it.
Boise State always has one of the weakest schedules in the country....thats a fact
BSU only has to prepare for 1, maybe 2, tough games a year...Thats a fact
BSU beats a very solid UGA team this year, I will admit that I was wrong. However, they cant hang with the SEC...Thats a fact
You actually are showing your own lack of knowledge by being ignorant to the facts.

Anyways, level of competition is far superior in these other conferences. BSU would have a hard time in any major conference.
Getting up for one or two games a year means nothing. In the other conferences, every weekend is a fight.
I guess we will see what happens in the season opener.
Let's suppose for a moment that we accept your premise. Boise State would have a hard time playing in a major conference with weekly games against top competition, although they can obviously get up for one big game.
All they have to do against Georgia is get up for one big game. Georgia has to worry about a tough SEC slate coming up, starting with a home game against the defending SEC East champs. For Boise, this is the game of the season. Shouldn't your argument predict that this is exactly the sort of spot where they win?

Point taken.
Every match-up presents a different set of variables. My point is that Va Tech wasnt ready to play football until about wee k4. They were very sloppy against BSU. If those two teams would have played in late november, Va Tech would have had an easy W.

SEC CONFERENCE VS. BULLSHIT CONFERENCE..
WOW!!!! What do you think BSU record would be if they played in the SEC or ACC over the past 5 years?
over the past ten years BSU is a whopping 0-2 versus SEC schools.
If Boise played in the ACC they would have went to at least 1 national championship game, maybe as many as 3.
BSU in the SEC would have probably lost 2 or 3 games each year.
Yep BSU is 0-2 vs the SEC in the last 10 years. 2 questions for you. 1) Were those games played in Idaho? 2) Do you think thats a big enough sample size to extrapalate results 5 years after last result?
I'm not understanding what any of this has to do with 2011. Right off the bat, Boise being favored should make you think twice about betting UGA. The linesmakers know more than most and that not debatable. Boom has proven his worth here year after year so you might want to listen.
