LSU had about 275 yards of offense against Oregon.  They aren't without faults.

Yep there offence isnt that great but it doesnt have to be when you sport one of the best defences college football has ever seen.

I think LSU would win against OU something like 17-14 or 14-10.

Not trying to turn this into a OU bashfest they just didnt really impress me that much tonight.

How dumb.  Who is the best cornerback to ever play the game?  Doesn't matter what name you say, that cornerback got burnt SEVERAL times.  It happens.  Stills has 4.3 speed, so yes, he can run by a lot of guys.

a FSU TD was called back in the 1st quarter

the tip INT gave OU the ball inside seminole territory, plus the FSU DB fell to sleep!

So OU doesn't impress you, but you think they'd lose to the "best team", in your opinion, by 3-4 points?  That doesn't even make sense.

Yes, as an OU fan, I can admit that OU didn't play great tonight.  It happens.  You don't think Mike Stoops knows a thing or two about defense?  You don't think that crowd had an affect?  And OU went conservative.  Even so, without shooting themselves in the foot, OU could have easily of put up 30+ points on the road, against a top 5 team.  We have some work to do, for sure, but we're as talented as anybody.

Oh, and Stills got behind Reid twice.  In the first half, he made that sliding catch.  So yeah, home boy got burnt twice.

Maybe they should quit holding then?  They were all legit.  And it isn't like OU didn't get penalized plenty.  Penalty yards were within 3 yards of each other.

LSU = Great D and an unimpressive offense.

OU = Superior O and very good D

That win at FSU in that environment was impressive.

OK did what they were suppose to do as the #1 team...WIN...for now they deserve this number 1 spot for going to Tallahassee and winning. I think the top echelon teams are OK LSU AL...would love to see a rematch of OK LSU in the Superdome

I want NO part of LSU in New Orleans again.  If they want to play us, move the game to a TRUE neutral site.  Man, OU has had some TERRIBLE luck in that department.  FSU in Miami.  UF in Miami.  LSU in New Orleans.  Crazy.

are you really comparing the Miss St offense that LSU shut down on Thursday to Oklahoma???

Yes, LSU D looked great, but to say they would hold OU to 14 points is a stretch IMO....maybe we will find out later this season....
