Unimpressed with OU

I dont care what Herbstreit or Murberger say I was underwhlemed by OU. Florida state has a putrid offence. Manuel is a idiot and is just a runner. This was a close game halfway thru the 4th quarter. A backup twig came in and made the game close. Sure OU's defence shut down FS but that #5 ranking is a joke.

LSU would smash both these teams tonight.

Florida states defence shut down OU for a majority of the game and OU's defence was responsible for putting the offence in a few great positions to score.

You are right, they will not score more than 13 pts. They didnt take any shots down the field until the game was tied.  They were content with keeping it close, not pulling away.  See redzone plays.

LSU's defence is one of the best ive ever seen.

FS had absolutely NO running game and this was a tie game in the 4th quarter.

Theres absolutely no way Stiles or whatever his name catchs that game winning TD against LSU defence.

Time will tell, but this team definitely is in the conversation for the NC...not sure how you think LSU would move the ball on them, but I think OU could score more vs. LSU D than LSU could on OU D....

I made $$ on both teams this week, so I am happy,  but I think OU deserves where they are for now...

They dont even have to score much. There defence would prolly come up with one score and the offence would be able to run one in for 7. That right there is 14pts and I dont think OU would be able to score that many against the beastly LSU defence.

LSU just went into a tough spot against a good offence and held them to frigging 6pts.

Dude, that was a sick grab by a pro receiver (prob play the slot because of size in the league, but either way).  The defense was on him on that play, but he just made a better catch.  LSU, '85 Bears, or the Steel Curtain....1 on 1 with the CB, tough cover for the defense when the WR makes that grab with his HANDS and squeezes it.
