In Miami We have two teams that have terrible secondaries with passing attacks that can take advantage of the missed assignments and poor judgment when the opposing team throws +20 yard passes. Miami can get pressure on the QB and so far the UVA defensive line has been MIA especially vs the run. They have been horrible all year. The same goes of the Cavs rushing attack also MIA besides Armstrong the QB being the leading ground gainer for his team which if he is also slinging it all over the place because his defense has been a revolving door. The Canes have not been a brick wall as Sparty light them up in Miami and Bama needed 8 minutes to crush Miami's hopes of an upset. Last We saw UVA they were getting whacked by a very under-rated Wake squad. Canes beat some alphabet soup FCS team by a million, so what Diaz is still a chump and a bad hire in Miami. Coaching advantage goes to Virginia and many folks will remember last week's Wake game and not understand how good Wake is this year. Miami has had butter fingers with the ball and the turnover chain bling should be worn by their opponents. Not sure why the line is this high considering these teams usually play close low scoring defensive battles. This doesn't look like the case tonight as Armstrong is throwing for over 400 a game and has rushed for positive yards. King looks like he is still injured but he hasn't been the X factor Diaz thought he was getting from Houston. Two freshman will play after the Canes put up 69 vs Alphabet soup. I really like UVA's three Wrs as they are take it to the house or snag the pass on a crossing route to move the chains. UVA Oline can't get any worse and Miami lost their loaded DLine to the NFL. I have faith Mendenhall can tighten up the D and they had a couple of extra days to game plan and travel. I don't think the crowd will be a big factor as Cane "fans" are doing 25 years to life or ODed or they don't go to the games when the team is down. Diaz doesn't seem to have this program under control but one of their Thug Life players returns after being suspended for unknown reasons. The typical score of these games,4th in a row in Miami , weird, is 23-20. Miami has won all the home games. Tonight Cavs get former QB Thompson running the ball and he goes for 100 and Wicks is open all night long and finds paydirt twice. Armstrong takes care of the ball and the Canes turn it over 3 times. UVA 45 - Miami 17. UVA ML +$190 for 3 Units, Cavs +5 5 +$100 for 1 unit

On a side note in Champions League I had one game circled Benefica +$215 over Shell of themselves Barcelona. I was reasoned out of this bet on my British forum for what I thought was good reasoning. I instead placed smaller bets on Chelsea who looked dead and Juve scored a perfect blackboard goal 13 seconds into the second half. I also had the Yellow Submarine +$580. Theh should have been up 5-0 at Old Trafford and that isn't hyperbole, they did manage to finally put in one of their zillion first rate chances but then made boneheaded back passes that lead to two goals on in the waning seconds by the great Ronaldo. You need LUCK to win not just "being on the right side for 98% of the game. Luck is real.

UVA doesnt have extra time to travel/prepare....This is their 3rd game in 12 days.....Not having a running game will not fair well vs decent competition. Armstrong is asked to do everything.....and he is solid, but cant throw 50 times a game and expect to beat teams that know hes going to throw the ball. Simply doesnt work over the course of a season. Sure you can win some games....but when youre 1 dimensional come October the scouting report is out.....

I also prefer that Miami is coming off a "get right" glorified scrimmage while UVA has been taking it on the chin. I trust the confidence level at UM more so than UVA.

As a huge Miami fan I’m trying to find a reason how Miami wins this game… I think Armstrong throws over 400 yds this game against Miami secondary… Miami offense well we don’t know what to expect out the freshmen… tough game to predict but I like Virginia with the pts

You got the break you needed Frank. Leave it to a freshman kicker to NOT make the game winning kick. You deserve it, nice work and enjoying that Virginia cover.

Frank, I have said it a million times today, but thank you again, I bet the moneyline only on this game, and we got a little lucky at the end, but that’s how it goes sometimes! Thanks again, please keep posting!
