Ok I'm not going to go into too much detail about the games so far this year. What I will say is that I know how my VT squad is playing. I have faded them successfully two consectuive weeks. Before that I bet them hard. So dont think of this as a homer bet. VT enters this game with the quarterback situation finally reslolved. Dont discount this fact. Without Glennon calling the signals this team is a hell of a lot better. Taylor has finally started to gain some confidence with his arm and looked very good as a dual threat against Virginia. The defense also looked good as they have toward the end of this year. Truth is, everyone knew it would take time for this team to develop. They are twice the team they were when these teams played in Chestnut Hill earlier this year. In that encounter, VT scored 2 defensive touchdowns while having no real success on offense. The key fact from this game remains to me that BC did not score a second half point and had serious trouble even getting first downs. Foster made his typical 2nd half adjustments and this is exactly what happened last year. BC will have to totally change their gameplan or else the VT defense will be more than ready and with a young freshman QB implementing a new gameplan could be a big risk. Even so, who is going to put their money on a freshman QB making his 2nd ever start against the Virginia Tech Defense in the ACC Championship game? Tyrod Taylor has already won an ACC Championship as a starting quarterback. That experience is huge. BC is going to put 8 in the box and make Tyrod win the game. I really think this will be his coming out party. BC on offense will not be able to move the ball. Period. Thats all I've got.
Prediction:
VT-24
BC-7
Bibendi Special #16- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University +1 10 units

As a Tampa rez', I would have to disagree with the couple of you who seem to think VA TECH will have the larger fan base. Alot of people from New England down here, tons of Red Sox fans, gotta' believe you'll see most of those cheering for Boston College. Looks like a nice day, good weather.
On VATECH today, pretty simple reasons
1) huge QB advantage, sorry BC fans, 1 win over a lousy road team (MARY) does not make a QB
2) VATECH, better fg kicker, more accurate, much stronger leg, this game could def. be decided in that dept.
3) Revenge is sweet. last year BC win @ VATECH, reg season, loss in J-VILLE, C-SHIP game, this year BC win reg season, back in Florida again for another shot @ the championship.
4) back to 1 again, huge QB advantage, Tyrod Taylor's legs will have BC defenders gasping for air. Hypothetically, what if Davis were to get hurt against aggressive VATECH "D"? What if Taylor got hurt? Again huge adv. VA TECH!
5) always believe that with good coaching, it's easier to adjust a game plan after a loss( to same team) than after a win. You'll see that today.
Hope I didn't steal any of your thunder bibendi...
Best of luck to all!!!
