You really like Auburn laying that much chalk? 

Don't get me wrong I really haven't looked hard into Arky State yet.  I thought they had a pretty good returning football team.  Maybe its my imagination.  I was thinking like a 31-10 type game here.

Arkansas St. is Losing one of it's best ever .... DE Alex Carrington who was SBC Athlete of the Year LY....

The D-Line also loses the Other Starting DE and a DT...

The Red Wolves got roasted by the Only Passing teams they played LY ,allowing 358-373-296 in 3 straight weeks ....

      2nd year in system....(offense very complex).....offense loses RB and QB.....but replacements should be fine....(QB sounds like probable upgrade).......OL has 111 starts  returning and 4 Sr starters....top 4 WR return
Defense had many injuries and underachieved.....so will be an emphasis.....especially early  ....remember Tigers really a running team (although appears to be wild ass pass 1st)....av 42 rushing plays......28 pass.....so pressure on new QB not so great....QB Newton at JUCO LY....but signed with Fla

ARK ST
     lose 4 yr starters at QB and RB.....changing to NO-HUDDLE spread.......AND....new QB did NOT go thru spring.....

      ***** remember.....no huddle (especially if not moving ball).....will put Malzahn's offense on field longer......UH OH.....looking at a possible 40-20 type TOP game

AND lose top 6/7 WR.....have had 2 OC's......since last year ended.....what?....DL has been very good (by Sun Belt standards)....but DL coach left MIDWAY THRU SPRING......
         * but DE's are both originally with Tex A&M....one  charged with armed robbery > so careful.....

even better....Ark St has done well in these type games.....so line may not be inflated as it should....

Aub vs Ark st.: although ark st. has done well vs. the number, the team they are facing has tools and the edges the move the ball and stop the ball, and considering that the 1st unit needs the most work, we could be looking at kickoff to final gun ass whoopin...the no huddle offense is not easy to implement, so going against the AUB def is not the ideal situation...

forgot.....also Ark St coach under pressure to do well TY.....with Belt games on deck....they must learn new offense...
meaning....they are not gonna abandon new O .....just to score points and keep game close...not with winnable games on deck......he does not want a big effort here....leading to an inevitable tough... emotional loss

Mich St good idea.....W Mich doesn't cover these early games it seems....usually in conf play late is when they jump up and bite teams on the ass.....LY WM down 35-0 at halftime......dunno what line will be....open 17ish ?...WM QB 1st road start....

Frogs never a bad idea....you know game is at Cowboys Stadium right?......3 best players on the field play for beavs.....should get it less than 10....

history tells us beavs will mail in either this one.....or at Boise on 9/25 (zona st next)....frogs win a close one maybe.....but 9/10 beav OL back.....D is tough (DT Paea a MONSTER).....**Rodgers bros from Texas**......Quizz great back....beavs turf team.....frogs grass....TCU shouldn't get huge support.....(ain't gonna be a loud home edge like you might expect)....wouldn't lay too many ....

Haha, thanks, Double.  You're going to lose money though.

ECU returns 2 lockdown corners who will stifle the Tulsa passing attack, just like they've done for the past few years.  Don't get fooled by ECU's young defensive line either.  They have plenty of experience and every single one of them were playing behind NFL drafted players in 2009.  

Tulsa returns a good core of playmakers on the offensive side of the ball and will manage to give any team fits by spreading them out. Damaris Johnson is their best playmaker by far and can change the dynamics of the game quickly with a kick return or a long touchdown reception. Quarterback G.J. Kinne is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in C-USA. He has the ability to run and pass effectively, but his offensive line hurt him mightily in 2009. They averaged giving up 3.83 sacks per game (118th in the nation) and will need to improve drastically if they want to keep their quarterback healthy throughout the 2010 season.

The defense, which ranked in the middle of the pack in C-USA last season will have some serious holes to fill as they only return 4 starters from a season ago. They run a 3-3-5 stack similar to that of West Virginia, but they are very vulnerable up the middle. Look for opponents to attack the middle of their defense both by passing and rushing. Safety DeAundrae Brown, who was their leading tackler a season ago, returns to try to lead the defense to another successful season. If they can get the same type output they did last season from their defense and improve just a little on the offensive side of the ball, the Golden Hurricane are destined to have a bounceback year in 2010.

* the pirate DL with "plenty " of experience (didn't count the snaps though ).....has zero career starts
.....LB's have 11......0/7 starters return.....best way to read these boys may be to avoid....rather than to auto-fade...
