your instincts are dead on I believe......some coaches obviously "try" to cover.....to please backers that make them RICH.....and not give a shit how ...."it looks".......to fans or opponents....come up with a better candidate than Kiffin ?

Okay I guess I just don't see you logic on this one. Not sure how it is "safer" to bet a teaser on the same day. Only thing would be an injury or suspension happening to a player in between days of games, but at this rate it's so far out anyway is a factor for a whole month and not a day or two.

Coaches are lying if they say they "don't pay attention" to spreads...either they're full of shit, or they don't watch ANY tv during the week...plus they don't to look like degenerates.

Florida -21.5 two years ago and kick a meaningless FG with 30 secs left to get their kicker some "reps", and win 26-3....you're telling me Meyer had no idea about that? Doubt it.

Like you mentioned last year with TN being 29 pt favorites against WKU. LK's mindset had to be..."are we only 29 pts better than this team?" - how'a bout we beat'em by 50.

Yes, the game is at Hawaii, but LK wouldn't care if the game were played on the moon...he'll do everything he can to light up the scoreboard.

Agree wholeheartedly on this one. Kiffin is a class A asshole. The talent discrepancy on the USC side of the ball is huge. People will look to much into the program being put on probation and not focus enough on the talent this team has returning.  To come out on opening night and stick it to those that may be doubting what USC is bringing to the table will be on the front of Kiffins mind.
