Always a refreshing thread to talk football in. Thanks for posting brother.
How about Spencer Tillman on primtime.
He lost his mind when Purdue called time out when Jackson ran out of bounds with 2:18 left. Fox brings in Mike Perrera to explain the clock continues to run with more than 2 minutes left. Very next play he loses him $h!t on the exact same thing.
And commending Raekwon Davis for getting shot 2 weeks ago at a night club and refusing to identify the shooter after getting a sack was a good one too. #rolltide haha! ABC nailed that one.

The Michigan defense....impressive; they're only going to get better, and stronger up front as the season goes forward. Ohio State / Michigan,'the game'
BWS
Good read thread, appreciate your effort, interesting commentary all the way around

Congrats to Mike Leach for finally winning an opener @ wazzu.....
I watched the 1st half of the UCLA/TAM game before going to a concert..........& was glad, at the time, that I was going to a concert. I was shocked afterwards to see they came back & won, then heard all the johnson-sucking of Rosen by the talking heads. After watching the game replay, Rosen threw at least four passes in the 2nd half that SHOULD'VE been picked. Yes, it was a great comeback, but there was a lot of luck/poor defense involved. To listen to the heads talk afterwards, they were ready to hand him the Heisman...........not so fast my friends.............& TAM got exactly what they deserved for dancing on the sidelines with the game not even half over.

Horrible special teams coverage in that Texas/Maryland game(by both sides) led to so much scoring.
183 kick return yards on 6 returns for Maryland
Texas had only 1 punt return, but it went 91 yards to the house.
Texas had 2 pic 6's on D.
If you take away those 3 mistakes by Maryland, it was a bigger a s s whopping than it seemed like.
That blew me away when I heard it. Hermann wouldn't confirm Buchele as the starter until very late. Sometime these motivational tricks work. Other times, as in this case, not so much.
To give up 51 at home to Maryland as 20pt favorites is almost inconceivable. That's on the level of Purdue last year.

Michigan will win the Big 10 this year....people bring up they are too young and lost too much...only people who follow Michigan understand they players coming back are BETTER than what they lost...add the best defensive coach in the country with Harbaugh and him finally coaching his recruits and they are going to be scary good on defense, much better than last season
They absolutely dominated that game...how many teams throws back to back Pick 6 and still win comfortably? Flor had about 150 yds total, in which 75 came on 2 plays...
Michigan will pound the football all season, allowing the stud WR's on the outside to make big plays one on one....I never was a fan of Speight and dislike him more after yesterday....if he doesnt turn over the ball they will be tough to beat...
I want to see Brandon Peters play, and they win it all next year....but with that D they have this year which will be better than last year, they win the Big 10 this year
and our first overreaction award goes to........

I may finally have reached a point where I've just watched too many college football games. Every announcer drives me crazy, or close to it. The endless clliches, some of which appear to be federally mandated ("that missed extra point may come back to haunt them," whether it makes the score 7-6 or 77-6) beat me down. I hate replay, and the forced use of the "replay expert" makes it even worse. As I've said 500 times before, and "system" you can beat by running the next play real fast, isn't much of a system. I truly don't know how we managed to play this game for 120 years without this wonderful advancement. Games in pro stadiums basically suck, though I thought the WVU/Polytech game in Landover had some buzz. Need to have 20,000 hillbillies imported into every neutral site game. Corey Chavous (who might be my favorite Vandy player ever) sounded like he was auditioning for a revival of Amos and Andy (young folks, you'll need to Google), did add a little humor to whatever game he was calling, but I'm not sure that's what he was going for. Did I mention he went to Vanderbilt! In fairness, he's actually pretty good on content, and seems like a really nice guy. Didn't see any truly awful uniforms last weekend, which is a nice change of pace. Though the pre-game intro at Lincoln was freaking awesome; shame for those folks that their team isn't. Is Florida's current or former coach more of a doofus? Does the Florida heat retard QB development in the Sunshine State?

If Michigan loses that game everybody bashes Harbaugh for being the most overrated coach in football and Michigan is too young.....Michigan completely dominated from start to finish, throws back to back pick 6s and still win the game for fun...and nobody will give them credit
Flor gained half their yds on 2 plays, and then got 70 yds on the other 51 plays

Mike Pererra drives me insane... he gets about 10% of his explanations correct. And to think this guy was the former NFL head of officials blows my mind

Spot on... looks like UCLA still can't run the ball and the only way for them to compete is to fling it 60 times a game like the end of last season. Those WR's had career nights, none of them did anything like that last year. I'll give Rosen a 25% chance to play in every game.... he'll get banged up again this year.

Just have to disagree BROTHER
Florida had some of their best players suspended ...Who knows what the out come is if they play ...Gators offense is pretty bad ...Might be lucky to finish 4th in the SEC EAST ....
I was on the wrong side last week , Made the bet almost a month before season ..
Michigan has some tough conference games on the schedule
Should now forecast to be 6-0 heading into Happy Valley ...
I would bet Penn St up to -6 right now in advance of oCT 21st
...
Wolverines could be vastly overrated going into the final 3 games AT MARYLAND , AT WISCONSIN, OHIO ST ....
Still have them finishing 9-3 !!!!
Honestly I hope they WIN THE B1G EAST ...
That being SAID ....
I LOVE JIM HARBAUGH ....
What a Fantastic attitude , How quick he restored Michigan to the top Notch of CFB
Always liked his toughness vs the Bills ...I Remember him Heckling Bills Fans and Talking trash before games at Rick Stadium...Often Joked and signed auto's for Hecklers or kids ..
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!
