They gave up 40+ points @ HOME to Ole Miss who got smacked by Memphis and barely beat Tennessee.... who is what??? a Average team.

There is no doubt that the SEC is a little bit overrated. But when they rattled off all those championships it is hard to not rate them high and give them benefit of the doubt, right? Under the old system, the only way to compare teams is the championships.
How overrated is the SEC... I don't know? And I don't think anyone does or ever will. That is why college football has moved to a playoff system and will continue to add teams to the playoff competition. It is just about impossible to rank so many teams and compare their resumes.
So, although you will always hate Alabama let's try to talk about the upcoming game and not let our hatred cloud our judgement...
When picking this game, I think it is a "no brainer" Alabama pick. I watched every single snap of the Bama Ole Miss game and I don't know how anyone can watch that game and think "Bama got their behind kicked". Watch the game again. Ole Miss benefited from EVERY SINGLE 50/50 play and also got some ridiculous turnovers, fluke plays and momentum swings. These are all apart of our game but it is impossible for any team to overcome and on any other night (albeit a night without the turnovers) that's a two score win for Alabama. It is also hard to compare Alabama's "close" wins against inferior opponents. They have never been a team that blows out the poor competition. Not sure why that is but I compare them to any Lebron James team. They do what they need to to win the game and nothing more. I just think they have too many athletes and even though Jennings can throw the ball he has not been forced to do so enough this year to overcome the Bama defense.

I'm okay leaving Stanford out after its 2-point win against Wazz until someone drops out and/or Stanford wins out.
