Sounds like he’s Stuck(ey) between a rock and a hard place. Thanks for the contribution, I always enjoy the additional input. Let’s see what happens. I think Navy comes out the opposite of flat. Remember, these young men are playing football en route to becoming officers in the military. They’re going to take a lot of pride in showing that last week wasn’t anything close to their standard performance. They will be fighting back with the goal in mind of getting back into the top 25 before seeing Army in December

 That’s cool. I’ve been here for a few seasons and could say the same to others when things don’t go well for them during their POY. It’s simply a way of communicating one’s utmost confidence in the play. Obviously one’s confidence doesn’t guarantee results. Moving on.

How was this a POY? Could understand a close loss, but this was so far off it seemed like the opposite side should have been the POY.

Brilliant question. POY is a declaration made before the game starts. None of us know the actual results of the game beforehand. Nor can we expect 5 hour delays.
