You’re too kind. Thanks
I actually really like this Tulane team. It’s purely an “I feel like I’ve seen this movie before” play.
I dunno if S Miss can win or cover, but there's zero chance I'm banking on Tulane to cover with Houston on deck. Possibly looking at the under as Tulanes impressive defensive & offensive stats are from playing Alcorn st and UMass.....S Miss gonna pound the ball with Gore Jr, and Wilcke won't be throwing bombs......
Very interesting game indeed.

I knew I’d look for Sou miss this week, was hoping for 16.5ish but taking to my friend threw me off after I mentioned letdown & he set me straight
it’s funny to imagine Tulane expecting to roll into Manhattan Kansas & win, nobody wins there

Hey, Train! All good brother! Just popping in to check on you guys and see if you all were on the Pirates -17ish. Personally love them - I do hear what WahooS is saying about Daffer, but the kid has been pretty solid sans the NC State debacle. He had a banner freshman season that resulted in an all-conference selection and hit a 54 yard game winner at Navy in Annapolis last year. He's was one of 30 kickers to be named to the Lou Groza Award Watch List in the preseason. He also picked up preseason all-league honors from Athlon and Phil Steele and I believe he was picked as an all-conference preseason pick by the AAC. I never thought in a million years the end of that NC State game would've unfolded the way it did. I thought he'd drill that for the game winner...so I'm calling it an anomoly.
ECU has only given up 7 points total in the second half after 3 games.
Pirates roll, but won't run it up because...well...it's our nations Naval Academy.
Tailing WahooS here pretty heavy.
I like it ECU 45 / Navy 17
Great to see you, Train!

I do like the over! And yes, that rule change hurts Navy so much. Without that rule change I'd never touch a Navy game, but this is a complete game changer. ECU has been practicing every Sunday for Navy since the summer. I think it gets ugly under the lights in Greenville. Lots of excitement around the program.
I'll be back!

I didn't really think Tulane shut down K-State thought they just tried muscling them and AMart just killing drives on a clutch play missing receivers just seemed like they beat themselves .. and but for Pratt gashing em on a few runs they got shut down pretty well just a terrible game for the wildcats I thought .. but this spot starting w a big W in Manhattan, real slugfest and was really hottt, Kleiman said they had a bunch of guys cramping up, their good RB was out for some critical parts .. not the longest travel but thats in the way and S.Miss / Tulane pretty hugely underrated rivalry .. and yeah both w conference on deck sure but Tulane roadie to Houston on a short turnaround friday game = tight schedule just a really tricky spot all the way around ... S.Miss basically prepping for this for 2 weeks, HC was Tulan's OC so doubt he's blowin this one off .. and we have at least seen S.Miss compete already, just tough to imagine Hall has em showing up flat here .. I mean maybe the question is what number would anyone need to bet on Tulane here like -7? .. lol ..

You seem to have a good handle on games, can you tell me if teams are going all out to score points, not easing up etc., as the committee is taking 'points' as a denominator into the play offs, of course SOS would also be a factor too! All too often Bama is leading 42 - 0 at the half and win 52 to 3 after Saban plays the recruits etc., and taking it easy on the lesser teams

great question but tough to answer
Bama doesn’t need to score more if they have a 39 point lead because they play in the toughest conference
Usc doesn’t have to win by 30 because they are usc & bring the entire west coast market with them, they have flashy players, a famous coach & a couple natties past 18 years
however, Washington St needs to go unbeaten, win PAC12 & blow teams out to make a huge impression & be worthy of consideration
it all depends on the school name, sos & eye test, the committee watches games according to them
Hope I answered that, I’m in the clouds at the minute

Something else I noticed.....Michigan is not taking their foot off the gas either late in a game. Trust me, I tried to fade two high lines and one in -game and lost all three haha
I think it was a few to 5 years ago we started to see teams starting to hit 70 pts like Ohio St. did last week without any discussion of stomping on other programs and not running clock....and it became acceptable because points WOULD be considered in their final position if it came down to it...so your top teams are all going hard JUST IN CASE they have a hiccup like Clemson and Bama have now had once or twice in the last 5 yrs

call me crazy but Harbaugh is recruiting when he runs it up, he needs more great offensive talent at Michigan & he will get more if they put up 50 a game, look at the Ohio st offensive talent every, poor guy has to recruit against that machine, I say good for Jim, run it up coach
saban doesn’t have to do anything except meet players, nothing, “hi, I’m coach Saban, we have 7 titles past decade (jk) & many heismans” don’t see him ever trying to run it up , utah won’t run it up (on purpose)
& then someone like Mike Leach will be throwing in the 4th with a 30 point lead, Art Briles would say “all gas no brakes” & put up 60 spots just to work on plays
So many coaches approach it differently

Glad you think its ok ...I do too but do you remember the anger on the FORUMS that game when Clemson ran it up on GTECH who clearly pulled out the white flag and just ran vanilla run plays with 7 minutes to go?
I said, old school meets new school thinking and there are many instances in society where its happening which I personally can accept because I kind of like change and fresh ideas, creativity, forward thinking
Harbaugh has 'grown up' a lot because he started off as stodgy and yelling at opponents on the sideline like his brother does with the Ravens haha
By the way, got knocked out of my Survivor last week after 132 guys got knocked out after week 1....we were down to about 65 and me and about 10 guys took Cinci @ Dallas thinking talent and pride would overcome a backup QB and sometimes defeatist Cowboys attitude...shit!!
I find the NFL is quite unpredictable these past few years!
