Buffalo finds themselves in a great situation for week 5 cover... Not only is this a letdown spot after Army just took Oklahoma to the brink, but it's also a revenge spot for UB. This was a game that UB had circled after losing a 4th quarter 10 pt lead last year.
This game will be played in Buffalo, the last time Army came to Buffalo they lost 23-20 to a 2-10 UB team w/ a QB Tyree Jackson making his 1st start...
Army is coming off a road game against a college football powerhouse, followed by a second consecutive road game w. a lesser opponent, followed w a bye.
Last year in a very similar scenario Army went on the road week 4 to play Ohio State L 38-7, and week 5 went @ Tulane and lost 21-17 and didnt cover the +2.5 spread...
yep agree AL......tough at home....a point or 2 away from covering 10 straight ....that W vs MY TEAM.....E Mich.....is looking pretty good right now....Bulls were off road upset at Temple too......

Great work as usual BA- that Buffalo line jumps out at me big time as well- artificially low after Army almost beats Oklahoma- Buffalo is at home and Army has to be so disappointed after coming so close- Love reading your stuff each week- thanks for taking the time to post!

took some of your strongs/solids but really like uva+8 and neb +3. great spot for nebraska needing that win, at home and purdue off their big 1st W.
....and how about the disrespect for those chanticleers +19????? troy must be awfully proud right now.....and how can any team be interested in giving Ccaro 100%...they are only an FCS team, aren't they? .... and they are really funky to defend.
damn i was feeling sick near the end of that army/ok game....didnt have an out to place the army ML....i think i would have put an ice pick through my eye had army pulled that out.....happy to have won on +33, +11.5 2H and army +41.5 on a couple teasers.

thanks man you bet..............
* HUGE for me to stay ahead....pretty much be done when the lines come out.....
Key here?.............TROY STINKS AT HOME
* great on road.....covering 15/20....SIX/20 at home..
what's great about this......it ain't reflected in the line......they're still adding 2-3 pts.....realistically should be taking away a couple ha....their road efforts....screw up their number at home
* CC now 3-1....off upset / BYE on deck......they should play the hell outta these boys
Troy has nothing going on until......NOVEMBER 24 v App St ??
* @ S Bama....@ Ga Southern 11/10.....it's gonna be tough to stay focused

Great week BA! Very appreciative of the work you put in and your willingness to share. You think FSU is starting to settle in and paint a good number on Louisville this week?
here's what you do........................
* go back and check Louisville's offensive numbers the last 3 weeks.........
Then just for fun.....look at their D as well....they are terrible
* FSU has been bad too...they seem to be MUCH closer IMO....Willie T.... REALLY needs some confidence going into Miami next week

Ok St only -15? Seems at least at td light.....if this was last week, this line is 28.....
BA
yep that one kinda stands out don't it?......my eyes keep going back to that one....as I'm trying to focus on something else.....too much uncertainty with Kansas probably is a deal breaker here for me
AND...the Okie St response to a home BEAT-DOWN....after getting all that pub / ranking etc.....is really tough to predict...
$$ bottom line for me......there is NO WAY they get in a quality week of preparation....how can they REALLY be focused on the sorry Jayhawks....whooped by Baylor?.......so I would expect a 'burst bubble' response....rather than bounce back......

Great job BA. I know parlays are for suckers but i am just a recreational gambler and they can be fun. For some reason I have done well after this point in the season betting three team money line parlays and your insights would be greatly appreciated.
A question for THE MAN. Do you ever play correlated parlays? That is when you bet a large dog and the under on one parlay. The books won't let you play huge dogs and the under but they will let you play them up to a pretty high number. I usually avoid betting against top twenty teams because they love to run up the score to get into a better bowl and the games that are expected to be a shoot out, meaning high over under. On a two team parlay you need to win one out of three times to grow a bankroll. It would be idiocy to try to grow a bankroll on two team parlays that were not correlated, the vigorish is just way too high but this way they are correlated. a big dog is a lot more likely to cover if the score is low.

-18 looks more like a hangover from the Jayhawk's blowout of Rutgers.
KU is still terrible. They had no ground game in Waco except for one big 72 yard play that really was a gift from a Baylor D back. The rest of the day they couldn't do anything. KU also is running low on healthy cornerbacks.
The Cowboys should be able to revive their dignity and give their home bettors a refund this weekend.

thanks boys be back a bit tomorrow hopefully...........
OKIE ST ?
DUCKS ?
NEVER....or maybe rather AVOID....betting on a road favorite after a tough home loss...
* Cal is a tough dog no doubt....it seems many forget.....I guess because of heavy DUCK love (what exactly have they done?....beat BG...SJSU (by 13)...and Ptland St...lost to Tree).....> stupid coaching decisions down the stretch.....
*BTW....Cal?.....was off watching on TV......recall > BYU beat Zona AND WISKY....but lost to CAL at home
Kansas will be fired up like crazy vs these teams that used to beat the crap outta them...Okie St did fine last trip here....but struggled previous 2......Jayhawks don't beat themselves TY either > #1 in TO margin....
Seems like there are better games...if you're looking to cap a nice feel good BLOW OUT.........Georgia...Ga Tech...APP ST (total looks low at 55)....tell me how UAB (off loss > big W > BYE) doesn't kill CLT?....Aggies on big stage at Jerryworld ( Ark in Auburn / Bama sammich)

Waiting to see.my boy BA's revised edition. Several of your recommendations are moving in the right direction . Good luck to us. Definitely with you on the Noles.
And what about Miss St? My research has them handling the Gators. Thoughts??

hey BA so on your look ahead line you had Stanford a 1 point favorite on the road at Notre Dame? do you think the QB change for the Irish is worth 6.5 points?
