4. Maryland + 15 (my least confident play, hate this team)

2 questions if you don't mind?

Would you still be on Northwestern if the line were +5.5 and with the Mizzou line being at -3, how high would you buy into that line?  Even if it were to jump to say -4.5, would you still buy into K State?

not sure what I will do but this line could end up under 30, I just hate betting against teams that can score 55 at will against a defense like the Jayhawks have, when I took the 33 I was hoping for some sympathy from Gundy to a fellow conference team

not really, but that sounds good doesn't it?  it is a good look ahead spot to catch Okie St. in but I just don't know if it will be enough, I'll probably keep the bet and stick it out but if that changes I will post it here

probably not, Northwestern's inability to close out games makes me think they don't win the game outright, I only started getting interested when the line crossed 7

I just have a slight lean to K State for now and nothing more, I would certainly look at them with more attention at + 4.5, Mizzou is a decent squad but just because they have a bye week to prepare doesn't warrant them laying 3 on the road in this game IMO, I made the line PK and would have Mizzou - 3.5 on a neutral field (in which I would probably Mizzou on a neutral at - 3.5), but Synder wins games in Manhattan, he is a great home field football coach and the Cats have a big coaching edge in this game, Pinkel is a disaster in my opinion

I certainly lean to Cal here, you will rarely ever see me bet against Oregon in Eugene, I laid this number with them against Nevada just a few weeks ago

that being said, Cal isn't going to be intimidated going into Autzen, these teams play every single year and they are both familiar with one another, Oregon doesn't have the shut down defense to stop Cal from scoring, I see Cal putting up points (probably around 27ish) and if that happens that means the Ducks need more than 50 to beat me

lets be realistic here, Oregon can score 50 on alot of teams at home, but this isn't an out of conference opponent that will be scared of the environment

I guess Maynard could get rattled and not play well but alot of things would have to happen for Cal to lose by 30 points, they have good athletes and nice speed, Cal is a solid team

I just bet Washington against Cal a few weeks ago at home because Cal isn't generally the same team at home, but this spread is super inflated and still getting more Duck action than not

people love betting the Ducks, I can see why but not with this line against a solid Cal team

I made this line 16, I'm a numbers guy so I see value in Cal plus the points

I bet against Houston's no defense playing ass last week with UTEP

that being said, they will score at least mid 40's against that shaky ECU defense, especially at home, Case isn't going to turn the ball over at home against that defense and ECU always seems to hurt themselves with dumb mistakes, I think ECU is a really poor coached team

I'm questioning whether or not I want to lay the points because the Pirates can put up points here, I just don't know if they can hang around

47-27 is kind of how I'm seeing this one for now, I have a few contacts at UH so will wait to talk to them

 

the KState game is simply a bad line, doesn't Mizzou won't win or cover but I generally bet with value

I have a slight lean to KState here because the homefield advantage, the coaching advantage and a free 3.5 points that I see, I made the line PK

as I said earlier, I would make Mizzou - 3.5 on a neutral field against Kansas St (would probably bet Mizzou in that case)

I'm a sloppy 8-8 in the NFL thus far, haven't really put much time in it with college getting most of my attention

I did very well with NFL last season but I must be honest, college football and basketball have always been my bread winners, at least over the past decade (ncaff hasn't been great for a couple years)

I've been around this betting game for a long time and I have seen it all, hopefully I can adapt like others have done and continue to win money

21 probably, although the current 20.5 is almost good enough, this game is a slight lean at best, it is always risky backing UNLV on the road but I'm not really convinced that Nevada is ready to be laying that big of a number just yet, they have alot of fresh faces in Reno

You are correct about Pinkel being a disaster (mainly in big games , which means he is out talented). I dont like either side in this game. The real value is the under 56. Mizzou is pretty solid vs the run and K St is decent against the pass. See an ugly game developing on saturday. Mizzou with a week off means more prepared, but a little rusty. K St with a slight letdown after upsetting Baylor. Also, Franklin is no RG3, and KSU somewhat contained him....

Hoo, I think Georgia matches up well with TENN. Dawgs can run the ball against soft young Vol D, and that sets up some play action scores. Georgia can take away the run totally and make it a one dimensional game. I know Bray is a great QB prospect, but he doesn't have many weapons and a not ready for prime time OL. Rambo is #1 rank in INT's and can take away WR Rogers. That sets up a lot of deceptive coverage options.... BTW, Rogers is going to be something special, but his reputation excedes his results.... FYI, in 4 games, he has 27 receptions, for 442 yards and 6 TD;s.... Almost all of which came against Montana, Buffalo, and that steel curtain Cincinnati D....Will that beat GA?   Georgia also has big advantage in special teams. Georgia is better than people think. They win this one
