Ok Nation, let’s do a little conference breakdown 

before we get started let’s address tonight’s game , Tulsa vs Houston

you have Briles offense vs Briles disciple offense, a huge difference is OB play , to successfully run the Briles spread you need a strong armed QB that can get it downfield once the running game is established, also need one capable of scrambling when needed, Tulsa hasn’t had that, word around campfire is they’ll play different Qb’s tonight, I don’t know how good any of the backups are but I know the starter is the worst Briles offense Qb I’ve ever seen & for that reason Tulsa sits at 1-3

If the backups are good you should see a shootout & the spread may be a touch high BUT if they are worse than the other bum it will be a quick hole 

Weather may rain early but will clear up in first half, I expect Houston to score lots of points because they’ll have lots of possessions 

I feel safest play is Houston ov 44 team total

i was actually eyeing the Under or just Houston spread in general. Would you be confident in those?

PAC12 breakdown (conference with most national champions all sports combined, probably not even close)

Ducks getting bye week to prepare for CP & the Huskies, good for them because Washington looks to be turning things up finally, Quack Quack should be unbeaten & then we would get superb line value next weeks IF you wanted to bet Huskies as a dog, I’m undecided on that matchup at the moment but the bye week helps the Ducks & the coaching staff even more

you have huge lookahead spot here for Huskies & a Bruin team that’s been decent for only first halves before losing wind & getting blown out, I could only consider the Huskies here despite the terrible spot because Chip has nothing to work with, Washington weak pass protection & browning no better than he was but still just a much better team, edge Huskies but buyer beware

Cal @ Zona
Khalil is hobbling around & Cal will force him to throw which hasn’t necessarily looked great, Cal should use their dual threat Qb in this one to take advantage of Zona’s weak d line like BYU did, Cal historically awful on the road but they did win in Provo this year & I like their new approach, edge Bears despite awful road record recent years

Wazzu @ Oreg St
Nice bounce back for fighting pirates last week after really blowing lead vs usc, they really should be unbeaten, they are way better than Oreg St but in my experience Mike Leach as a heavy road chalk isn’t ideal, this is just the sort of weird game he will lose about once per year, I hope Wazzu wins but have a strange feeling the Beavs could be on upset alert , love the Wazzu QB but this one feels icky to me, edge Beavs

Utah @ Stan
said it from get go, Stanford is overrated, should have 2 losses & may not have Love this week due to ankle/vag injury, I do love the Stanford wideouts but Utes maybe a live dog here as Stanford comes off two emotional games vs Oregon & Notre Dame & Utes really need a win, edge Utes

this line stinks to high heaven , -2.5 ?  What?  Colorado is undefeated vs a historically bad conference road team, it’s at home in altitude , I mean what gives here?  Colorado has beaten a collection of high school teams so maybe that’s the oddsmakers thinking, I suppose I give edge to Herm

no because I have no idea what to expect from the other QB’s from Tulsa, I’ve never seen either & have no clue what they look like. I don’t like betting on unknowns

IF one of them looks great they’ll cover that big spread & go over as Houston can’t tackle 

IF they are as bad as the starter they could get worked 

for me, I feel better about Houston scoring than betting the unknown

Doesn’t mean you won’t win but that’s how I view it

Bama @ Arkansas 
as I predicted last week Nick called off the dogs & was classy to a friend, I predict exact opposite this week vs a foe, no chance he wants to lose any recruits to the new coach on the block, Tua stats in longer & they forcefully jam it in until close to death, 61-10, edge Bama 

Kentucky @ A&M
the fighting stoops have been a real shock to me, I don’t know what to make of them, Mond played as bad he can play vs Arkansas & you can expect a different Mond this weekend, if Kentucky is as good as they look it should a tight game, but the spot favors Ags with the home crowd , better coach & better QB, edge ags but buyer beware as UK may just be better than anyone knows yet

Mizzou rested while Cocks come in off beating, both good offenses, feel like Mizzou may win but would give edge to over, let’s say mizzou & over but feel better with over

the dores give you hope then they lay an egg, line is so big I’d only consider them but geez, they are so hit & miss, spot favors Dores so edge Dores, uga has @ LSU on deck 

LSU @ Florida 
ed laying road points sounds as good as an enema so a win from either wouldn’t shock here, Mullen also doing an ok job aside from getting smacked at home by UK, edge to LSU or under but LSU has UGA on deck, welcome to the sec right?  No result would surprise me in this game 

Auburn @ Miss St 
ends 0-0 in a tie after 10 overtimes, good defense & bad offense, this should look like those old Bama vs LSU matchups, real exciting 
All our sec guys love Auburn & I realize their opponent has been miserable in conf play but laying road points without a running game vs a good defense & desperate team isn’t for me, our forum says edge Auburn so I won’t argue & hope everyone wins

Man, that Bama line at under 35 was a little too generous of the linemakers if you ask me....Im not sure how they'll do it, but I think the Hogs cover. Line should rise into saturday, with the late bettors getting -36/37 as Bama money rolls in.....Tua finally has a bad game? Hogs actually play well?

Like you said, this looks like 61-10......but 48-17 aint that far fetched......

FWIW, Arkansas has only lost by 36 or more points at home 3 times since 1977.  They’re 193-82-2 su at home which makes them a mind-boggling 274-3 to this number.  Just a point to ponder.

Stats like that aren’t important to me because none of those teams have ever played a team like this , Bama used running game & ball control since Saban took over

Offenses in the sec didn’t start scoring until like 2013 so I can see that stat but this Bama offense is a whole different beast

I can’t factor any trend vs this Bama team unless it’s like the one last week where he allowed Lafayette to outscore them in the 2nd half by design

We will see, Arkansas could possibly cover as no game is ever any sort of guarantee

but to get in front of Alabama with this particular Arkansas team would require stones that I don’t have 

Train seems to think Arky also 

I don’t see it but we get to find out on Saturday , this Bama team is one of the best college teams I’ve ever seen & I just watched little North Texas creampie Arkansas 

only 1 way to find out I suppose
