Leave the pride aside, indeed!  Many factors affect the outcomes, but ego isn't one of them.  This isn't rocket science, but if you want to win, and make money, there's a very simple formula...
 
"Pick who's HOT, when they're playing who's NOT."  If they're playing at home, even better.  If they're in bowl contention, better still.  Now pick two or three of these whose spreads seem more than coverable, and TEASE them. 
 
This week, consider:
 
BYU at SDST
Utah @ UNLV
ECar hosting Rice
 
ECar ain't necessarily "hot" but Rice is just laughable.

I live here in the Bay Area.  I'm sure you are aware that CAL does this every year.  They get off to a smoking start, then implode.  Tedford is a great coach and motivator, but it just doesn't seem to sink in with the palyers.  I just think there's better games out there for you to wager on.  Best of luck whatever you do.

Double Up 4 Life:  What is your big play?   Texas?  Do you like UL Layfayette -7.5?  I went to WKU..They are terrible..Love them in B-ball..They get no respect from Linesmakers...In football they suck!!!

Maybe this is just the homer in me, but off a bye, I think Cal beats UCLA.  I knew USC would pound Cal, but I think UCLA will need a lot of bounces to go their way to beat Cal.  RIley is garbage but UCLA's QB is garbage too.  Cal should have the advantage in the run game.  Both defenses are good.  UCLA always has great special teams.  I see a low scoring game, and hopefully Tedford gets his first win in LA.  24-19.  (UCLA always kicks a million field goals).

In a couple weeks, W Kent will be a good play because the lines will be inflated, but for now I agree to bet against them every week.  They are bottom 5 for sure and may be bottom 2.

Another team I think at best goes 2-5 in the next 7 Games..The Offense is a Joke and should be playing from behind once again this week vs CAL

Nevada is the Prime of example of a team that usually Can't beat the BCS schools but seems to Dominate the WAC Foes(other than Boise) and lesser Opps.

I love Idaho, again this week. 

Hawaii's Sr. QB is out for the season.  They were behind 42-3 at the start of the 4th qtr. last week to Fresno State.

The line on Idaho has dropped from -9.5 to -8.     I believe it's because the Sagarin ratings has had them under rated all year.  A lot of the teams they have beaten are ranked higher than Idaho.

but the Points seems to have some Value ... One of the Biggest Games on the schedule for Minnesota ... while IMO for PSU they might be  looking ahead to at Michigan

I stopped trying to figure out Line movement years ago ... Oddssmakers could have 1000 different reasons IMO ...

Don't worry to much about the DROP /./// although it's DOWN 4.5+ Points ,the ONLY KEY NUMBER it has Crossed is 10....

really only down 1.5 POints IMO

Good last minute play on Cincy last night DU!
 
I through them on a last 3 team parlay and they started off the weekend good for me.
 
 
Besides the Idaho line drop, the Houston line drop is really aggravating me, even though Houston has handled Tulane the last 3 years by no less than 24 points.
 
I'm going to lay some major dough on it no matter what, just really don't see why that line of all lines would drop.

Thanks for the post brother it saved me some money! I debated and debated but bottom line is you are either in it to win it or your just giving your money away! I have gave enough of my money away and I am now serious. See the biggest problem with allot of us gamblers is we think with our heart and not or heads. We play on what we hope happens or what we want to happen. The scenario that will most likely help our favorite team. See I wanted to prove Cincy was a fraud. I knew everything that you posted was true,  yet I was going to ignore it and go with the scenario that I hoped would happen not what I really thought would happen! Anyways after reading your post and DU4L response cooler heads prevailed and it saved me a little money. We all need that type of positive influence sometimes. Thanks to all of you !
