Week 7(16-8, +15.8u), Bibendi Specials(5-2, +8.4u)

Rough week last week with the brutal Northwestern beat and late Washington touchdown. I won’t rant about either too much as I was due for a bad week but still feel like I did a good job capping them.

Jumped on Baylor when I saw them at -19 as I figured it would rise but then it dropped to -17 so I took it again. 2 unit play now so its the Special this week in an otherwise bland card to me…



Baylor -19

Bibendi Special: Baylor -17(2.2u to win 2)

Florida +7.5(may sprinkle ml)

Northwestern +10.5

Georgia Tech +7

I like the Georgia Tech selection.  Looking forward to the Scarlet Knights / Louisville game tomorrow.  I think 17 points is too much to give to Rutgers.  Any thoughts?

On sports radio they were talking about how Bronco Mendehall the coach for BYU is known for being able to shut down the triple option.  BYU does have great LB.  BYU offense is also starting to click a little more.  BYU allowed 117 rushing yard last year to GT in GT.  BYU is ranked 40th against the run this year.  GT defense is good but they did let up tons of big plays to Miami.  Tough back to back road game plus flying across country.  Then jump on bus for another hour twenty min drive to BYU.

took washington last week went against one of the best and got lucky..

also if you could add me that would be great easier to tail lol keep the Hot streak going GL bro

Look on the bright side, at least you won't have to wait until the 4th quarter to say "what was I thinking taking northwestern" this week.

Arent people over-reacting just a bit to last weeks win vs utah state who lost their star qb? The air was let out of the stadium after he went down....

BYU's only solid win is vs texas and i dont know how much stock you can put into that this year... Losses vs utah and Virginia(SHAKY!)

It may be a tough trip across the country for Jackets but I wouldnt feel good about laying 6.5 against the very tough to prepare for triple option.

1) Pretty sure Texas is at least on a par with Ga Tech... and I say this despite my TREMENDOUS lack of respect for Mack Brown as a coach... GT plays in the ACC, and the ACC is unquestionably the weakest of the major conferences...

2) I would take Utah (pk) vs Ga Tech without hesitation... Utah is the better team in that matchup!

Having said that... I did not realize BYU was favored by a TD in this game... hadn't looked into it much... figured this was a much lower spread...

@boomersooner...in all honesty I'm waiting for it to hit 9.5 and I'll buy out with the 10 for a middle #. If not I'll let it ride. The more I look into it the less I can warrant a bet. I think northwestern will be competitive but I think they have a nightmare of a time stopping the badger run game

Regarding the GT/BYU game I just think it is too many points. GT brings a stronger option attack than anything BYU faces and that has to be factored in. I think this game goes down to the wire
