I hate taking dogs the first week you just dont really know who is playing great for most of the teams and how much good they will do for the year untill after the first week.
I see your point , But I really wanted to sprinkle $150-250 total across the board on a bunch of dogs for low risk action
CAL should only be +180 or so IMNHO

TEX will play up to their talent level on "D" this season...They are very athletic and are returning 10 starters on this side of the ball...Maryland has a new QB and while they were able to run the ball well at times last season they struggled to against quality teams...The Longhorn O-Line is among the best in the country coming in and will dominate against the Maryland D....They will be able to run the ball at will in this game...QB Buechele had a good FR year and should be very efficient this game as the passing game should be opened up by the run.....I think Tom Herman makes a big statement to open the season with a lopsided win against a Maryland team who will be outmanned on the road..

You sir, doubt DJ Durkin or simply don't know enough about him and have looked up a lot about Texas/Maryland stats. Not casting shade in your direction, but I suggest you don't overlook what Durkin's defense did to SEC teams; yet alone Herman's inherited team. Now DJD has never had much of an offensive-oriented mindset (i.e. interim HC for Florida bowl game in 2014) and some of your points are valid so I'm excited to see this one get down n' dirty in the trenches.
Texas might win and you could probably cover the spread - but yeah, I'm interested to see this 30 point win

I Love what Harbaugh has done = so fast ... Might come back down to earth this season.... Odds makers seem sharp setting their win total low at 9 .... Was Praying for 10 ( could have been a mortgage wager)
That being said I think the WOLVERINES rebound HUGE NEXT YEAR, and go TO THE PLAYOFF !!!

Troy gave Clemson all they could handle last season @CLEMSON......They won 10 games and were in every game except 1........Everything indicates their offense will be even stronger this season.......Boise has ??? everywhere this season except for QB.......unproven O-LINE......They lose RB McNichols who was huge.........6 out of their top 7 tacklers gone on "D"
