Where are all of the SEC haters?

What does money have to do with any of this? Are the SEC fans that are always bragging about teams success other than their owns getting any of that money? No. I'd rather have my team playing in a weak BCS conference so that it's easier to win games. That, like you bring up, makes money for your school and also gives them a BCS game more often than not. I'd rather play in the Big 12 and win 10+ games consistently than play in the SEC and have an 8-4 season be called good because the conf. is so strong, but not get to a good bowl game. Why not take easier competition so you get a chance at the title more years?

In my mind the SEC is having a down year. They have three teams that can be called top 10 in my mind, and those are UGA, UF and LSU. Out of those three I think only UGA has a realistic chance of winning the championship. Them and OU are the two teams I think could give USC a run for the title, and possibly Texas. Florida would get crushed by USC. Too much defense. Florida would give up at least 30 and would be lucky to score more than 20. I'm not saying UF is a bad team, because they're very talented. They just aren't a top tier team like the other four I mentioned, and they are the second best in the conference. LSU has serious questions at the QB position and with that you can't be a legit title contender.

LSU, Auburn, and Alabama would all come third in the Big 12 at best. Florida might end up third in that conference too.

Once again though, who gives a shit. Only the title winner has a right to brag, and right now it looks to me like that will be Southern California, whether you guys think they play in a good conference or not.

Maybe more!! Week in and out of physical football them puzzies couldnt handle it!!  Right now the title is in the SEC( Has been for 2 years and has been in this conference MORE THAN ANY OTHER CONFERENCE!!!) and until january and somebody or some other conference wins it its THE SEC"S till then NUMBNUTS!!!

The reason that the SEC fans have to defend their conference is because of all of the commentators on TV that constantly talk about how great Ohio State and USC are.  They make it sound like the SEC is not as good as USC or OSU because their out of conference schedule is not as strong.  If you listened to any sports talk radio you would realize that OSU and USC fans are just as bad if not worse.

Your statement makes no sense.  You're comparing what commentators say about one team from the Pac-10 and the Big-10 to your whole conference...

OSU has dominated the Big-10 the last few years just like the Pac-10 has been dominated by USC.  What does praise for them have to do with the SEC as a whole?  For god's sake, you had five teams in the Top 10 last week!  How much more respect do you need?  And OSU & USC should be praised for being very good programs.  OSU has been to 3 national championships in 6 years and USC is 5-1 in BCS bowl games under Carroll!

But in no way should their success have anything to do with how the SEC gets a bad wrap.  Top to bottom, I believe the SEC is the best conference and I'm a USC Trojans fan!  And who cares what TV commentators think.  Do they influence the BCS?  What about sports radio talkshow hosts?

Pac 10 is still a good conference.  They are right behind SEC for sure.  SEC is good, but not nearly as good as everyone is making them out to be. I think USC could beat any team in the SEC.  I think SEC depth is better than Pac 10, but there bottom team and our bottom team arent far off. Im hoping to see USC vs any SEC team in the national championship

They are? Who is good besides UCLA? I mean the other teams are horrendous. I would say the Big 12 is comparable to the SEC
